Mrs. Lourdes Lopez

Theater Teacher

NPCs (non-player characters) go here. This section is for characters who will not be participating in the game, including teachers and school administration. To encourage consistency, the staff have created a number of ready-made teachers, all of whom are available for free handler use unless stated otherwise. Please link any appearances these staff make in threads by replying to their topics. For this pregame, any additional NPCs will require staff approval on a case-by-case basis. Please contact staff if you wish to create any NPCs, and note that we will generally be trying to keep their numbers slim; pregame is, first and foremost, about the students.

Mrs. Lourdes Lopez

#1

Post by SOTF_Help »

Name: Lourdes Lopez
Gender: Female
Age: 73
Position: Theater Teacher

Appearance: Mrs. Lopez is an elderly Mexican-Cuban woman who stands roughly 5’10” and has a willowy, dancer’s build. She has shoulder-length 4c silver curls that she wears in a side-part and has light hazel eyes often covered by large circular spectacles. Mrs. Lopez’s fashion is often colorful and billowy, wearing various shawls and headscarves paired with floral summer dresses and always high heels. She consistently smells of coco butter and patchouli.

Biography/Personality: In her youth Mrs. Lopez was a Mexican model and soap star before immigrating to the United States with her husband to pursue a Hollywood career in the early 80s. Following the birth of her son she retired from acting and began teaching, first in California and now in Las Vegas. Mrs. Lopez’s classroom is filled with her glamour shots, and she has a tradition in which she takes her student’s personal headshots at both the beginning and end of the year.

Mrs. Lopez is an actress through and through and her classes are ones that are low-stakes in terms of grade but high-pressure when it comes to her personal demand. Perhaps an ode to her background as a Mexican soap star Mrs. Lopez prefers dramas and one-act plays as compared to musicals. She is still often forced to put on a Spring Musical every year involving the band and chorus programs for the purpose of fundraising, much to her chagrin.
