Her face is round, with wide brown eyes, full lips, round cheeks, and a small, round nose. Her hair is black, reaches down to her back, and is styled in dreads.
When it comes to fashion, Flick tends to wear clothes she finds comfortable and stylish. She prefers dress shirts in bright colors, long dress skirts, slacks, spandex shorts, and blouses. She keeps cardigans and hoodies for cooler weather. For footwear, she has tennis shoes for general weather, and sandals for warmer weather. On the day of the abduction, Flick wore a plain yellow blouse, a black ankle length dress skirt, and black low heeled sandals.

Biography: Felicity Franklin was born April 8, 2007 as the oldest daughter of Teshawn and Sequoia Franklin. She has a younger sister, Gabrielle, who is a freshman in high school, and a younger brother, Teshawn Junior (TJ for short), who is in 7th grade. Teshawn owns a catering business, while Sequoia is a pharmacist.

Felicity was an introverted, yet friendly child growing up. She preferred to watch television and play with her toys than go outside. Regardless, her parents made an effort to take her out and get her to socialize with other children. When they took her to the park, she would play and talk with other kids her age. She got along well with others, and this behavior carried into preschool and elementary school.

In elementary school, Flick was bullied due to her chubby appearance. She went to her parents and teachers about this. Her parents assured her that she was fine just the way she was, and that her appearance was her business. Meanwhile, her teacher scolded those who made fun of her and taught her not to let the judgement of others bother her. This led Flick to keep an attitude of body positivity that she carries to present day.
One of Flick’s favorite hobbies is cooking. She always loved her father’s cooking, which she finds delicious. As a caterer, Teshawn has had experience cooking for special events and parties, and his food is highly regarded. As a result, he’s been booked often. When Flick wanted to learn how to cook from her father, he was happy to teach her. Cooking had always been a passion for Teshawn, and he was delighted that his daughter was taking interest. He thought it would be a great way to bond, plus she could be helpful to his catering business when she was older. Teshawn taught Flick everything he knew, and Flick began to enjoy the time bonding and seeing her family smile when she’d have them taste test the food she made.

Flick is also a fan of reality shows. She’s a fan of shows such as Survivor and Amazing Race for their exciting premises and the challenges the players are put through. Whenever a new season premieres, she watches these shows with her family. One show that she enjoys due to her passion for cooking is Hell’s Kitchen. She enjoys seeing the way the teams worked together or clashed when things didn’t go according to plan. She also enjoys seeing Gordon Ramsay yell at chefs who were arrogant or delusional. She also finds inspiration from Gordon Ramsay to perfect her cooking skills, as she had learned about Chef Ramsay’s accomplishments in opening restaurants around the world.

Another hobby Flick enjoys is shopping with Sequoia and Gabby. Before the start of middle school, to help Flick with insecurities about her weight, Sequoia decided to take her shopping for new clothes before the start of the new semester. Sequoia, a plus sized woman herself, figured a new wardrobe could give Flick more confidence. Fortunately, it worked, as when Flick entered the school year, she began getting positive attention from her classmates for her new clothing, some calling her pretty and stylish. Afterward, Flick began clothes shopping with her mother more often, and was soon joined by Gabby, who had an interest in fashion. Flick enjoys mixing and matching outfits together, plus getting to spend time with her mother and sister. They make trips regularly and frequent shops such as JCPenney, Bealls, Ross, and Goodwill.

Looking for new ideas on what new outfits to wear, Flick began following fashion influencers on social media, such as Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. On Instagram and TikTok, she found that people had been posting videos of themselves cooking recipes. She was impressed by some of the recipes that were posted and found that they looked delicious, so she started to replicate and cook whatever she saw, provided she had the ingredients. Flick then started to post her own cooking videos to her social media accounts. She has gained a small following, with many finding the food in her cooking videos scrumptious. Some have even tried out the recipes she posts and have given positive feedback.

At school, Flick is known for her loud and sassy personality. Some find her funny, friendly, and endearing, while others find her annoying and abrasive. She tends to hang out with those who share her interests in culinary arts and fashion. Some have tried to make her feel bad about her body and weight, however she brushes them off. Academically, Flick is a decent student, with physical education being her worst subject, and language arts and social studies being her favorites. Flick plans to go to college and major in culinary arts, that way she can realize her dream of opening her own restaurant.

At home, Flick has a positive relationship with her family. She helps out with her father’s catering business, shares her love of fashion with her mother and sister Gabby, and looks out for TJ, who also wants to learn how to cook. Teshawn and Sequoia support Flick in her dream of majoring in culinary and encourage her to experiment with new dishes. Whenever she needs advice on outfits, she goes to Gabby, who wants to be a fashion designer.
