sprite thread 2: acoustic boogaloo

hello!
technically i could just revive the old sprite thread but that one was sort of a joint effort and i wanted to have my own dumb thread for just me and my itty bitty tiny children.
i will... work on reorganizing my older sprites at some point, especially the V7 ones because i had a near-complete set, but a lot of them have been lost to the mines (my old computer) or i can only find them like, in old dms or whatever, plus attribution for some is unclear and i don't wanna go posting someone else's sprite as my own, etc.
so important project for right now is spriting every v9 kid! i have made this easier for myself by starting now and limiting myself to kids who have actually been approved. i've also skipped any kid who doesn't have a specific island outfit, but im happy to make a sprite for your kid if i had to pass over to them if you wanna dm me their outfit deets. ok i decided to go against this and start making up outfits lmao, but i Will happily change them if you have an outfit in mind and wanna send it to me. also if i totally fucked up your vision let me know that too and i will fix
V9 sprite masterpost here (in alphabetical order) - up to date as of 5/30/2025 w/ 68/68 kids done! all caught up!!
also going to go ahead and link originals here for posterity, along with all the not-yet-official v9 kids i have done for reasons:
