There's a lot of different ways a vigilante can work, I think there'd be versions that just become VT if they hit non-scum instead of dying? Or maybe hitting bulletproof negates those. Honestly, it makes a lot more sense for a vig to be in this game than a serial killer (if there isn't a witch or some shit), if only by flavour.
Right now I believe Boogie's reasons check out. I'm not really overly worried about Cactus at the moment but I'm not giving him townpoints either.
But man, scum had to go straight for the new person? (At least I thought they were new...)

Thoughts so far:
MW is pretty town if Poly is scum. Finding an excuse to townread your scumbuddy so transparently doesn't strike me as something scum!MW would do.
MeS is really very town to me. Yeah, scum can put up a cavalier facade since playing defensively tends to get you scumread, but to this extent? in the way that he's doing it? naw.
You're being oddly transparent about things if you are scum, but this still reads as opportunistic dogpiling. Scumnull if MeS is town, hard town if MeS is scum.
Don't like this bit of speculation. If the game's not bastard, why do you think it's a 'distinct possibility?' Why bring it up?
Don't like this if MeS is town. Sets things up to lynch MeS, but you still come out of it looking good because you were 'against' it.
I loosely agree with reads on Deamon being mildly sus.

Alright, agreed on Boogie. Like, I honestly can't picture a reason why he'd lie about that? Maybe I'm not imaginative enough to do so. In that case, do we have two killy factions?

The big thing re: potential multiple scum factions, and to keep in mind, is that it means scum-hunting is not necessarily a town tell. Scum in a multiball game are free to enthusiastically hunt the other faction, which can leave notable blind spots or defenses of their own allies a more reliable thing to be on guard for. Of course, could still just be a vig, or an SK or whatever.
I'd love to hear from folks who advocated yesterday strongly one way or the other but haven't said much yet. With a new phase dawned, do you think we should carry on as before, or are new options becoming more appealing?

I'm still looking at Boogie with uncertainty as I still think that saying what their role is does kind of help town in a way but now scum can do away with him if they so pleased. Unless Boogie is lying, then I don't know what to think and I don't have any proof to back that up.

Playing catchup now, but I generally agree with the points brought up e.g. boogie being truthful about being targeted unless he's playing a galaxy brain strat and the multiple killing factions being an almost certainty. Are we still going with the multiple mafia plus a vigilante/SK theory, or just two mafia or one mafia and one third party since if boogie was honest there would've been 2 killed had he not've been bulletproof?
