V8.5 Launch (April Fools)

Attention, handlers:

We are happy to announce a tentative V8.5 pregame launch date of Sunday the 1st of May, 2022.

For those of you unaware, due to a COVID outbreak at John Endecott Memorial Academy the winter trip for 2021 has been cancelled.

As a result the timeline is being pushed forward by one year. This means any previously approved applications will need to be resubmitted from the 8th of April 2023.

All sections of pregame (besides memories) will be closed and a new V8.5 pregame section will be opened taking place one year in the future.

If you have any queries please post them in this thread and we will endeavour to answer them promptly.

I would like some clarification - does this mean that our characters will be a year younger (as in, the senior class of 2023), or are they going to be a year older (being college freshmen or equivalent)?
In a related note, what will we be changing about our previously submitted characters?

Will we be restarting pregame from scratch or will the previous pregame be considered to have happened?
