Ellis waited as the others spoke to the new guy. He wanted to chime in following Timothy's weird dick-size admittance, but Ellis kept finding himself distracted by the shouts from inside the garages. He slowly moved closer to the garage door.
"Should we..." he muttered.
Before he could say anything, Teddie emerged with a new haircut. Ellis stared at him. He rubbed the back of his head. His hair was too short to really necessitate a haircut in all of this.
"Oh, hey Teddie," he said when he came out. "Feeling better?"

Eden honestly had no idea who they got onto the discussion of Timothy's dick and she was just gonna avoid commenting on it as it was honestly none of her business. Even if it was kind of funny. But hearing Teddie's shouts were more concerning and worrying. She wasn't sure what she could do about it. This would be something that her Mom would have been able to handle with some motherly advice.
Eden blinked when she saw that Teddie with a different haircut when he popped back out and she needed a moment to process it.
She gave Teddie a friendly smile as Ellis asked him a caring question. "Teddie, are you okay now?" She asked as an add-on question.

"Um, yeah. Yeah, I am." Ted-Jack was not sure what he should do, or how to act. But what he did know is that there was something he had to do. "Hey by the way... can you..." Jack held his mouth open. He was scared.
If he finished that sentence it would really be set in stone. Teddie would basically be dead until the end of this. Or the end of him. This stupid idiotic idea would be fully set in stone. But his reasoning was correct, Teddie couldn't survive this. So with no other options he made Jack and now he would cement himself as Jack until one of two things happen.
He wins. Or he dies.

Calvin was about to suggest a more badass name for the new haircut, like Johnny, which, if Calvin thought about it, wasn't too far from Jack either. Maybe Jack was better than Johnny. Jack definitely beat Teddie, though. Teddie, as in like Teddy-Bear. Name sucked. Calvin wouldn't be surprised if Jack got bullied for having the same name as a teddy bear and also a former US President.

Timothy swiveled his head back and forth between Eden, Ellis, Teddie in the middle of a nervous breakdown, and Calvin bailing and flashing finger guns during his exit. His eyebrows stayed raised.

Ellis was going to get whiplash. If he was to die here, it would be from a broken neck. Everyone was moving and saying random stuff. Teddie was feeling empowered by his haircut to ask to be called Jack, for some reason. Meanwhile, the other guy shouted what sounded like some commercial slogan before running off. Ellis sighed.
"Okay, I'm really confused right now," Ellis finally admitted. "Can we, like, just, figure out what we're doing? Like, where we're going and what we're doing?"
Ellis looked over to Jack and the garage.
"Is the garage safe, Te-Jack?"

Eden had no idea what the hell was going on. Teddie wanted to go by Jack after his breakdown and going through a crazy haircut. Calvin just bailed on them after that. Timothy looked confused as heck. Like she was honestly. Ellis seemed like he was the only one who wasn't losing his mind currently. She wished that she was anywhere else but here. But well, wishing was hopeless in a place like this.
"Hmm." She scratched her cheek with her spare hand and she then shrugged her shoulders at Ellis, not really knowing what to do next. "Well, I guess we could stay here and take a break. Recharge our energy and come up with a plan on where and what to do next? Not sure if Timothy wants to stick around... Uh, do you?" She glanced at the other boy for a few seconds.
She then glanced at Ted-Jack (?) and then she took a step closer to him.

There was a truck or something though." A part of Te-Jack wished that they stopped him that they said 'No we aren't going to start calling you that what wrong with you?' But he knew that wouldn't. That's why he did this because they wouldn't.
Jack reached into his pack and grabbed one of the energy bars and began to eat it. "Thanks..." Jack walked back over to the garage "We should probably spend a few hours here, you know rest after the trek through the night." Jack went back in and waited for the others.

"Uh- uhm..." Timothy hesitated at the invitation from Eden. There was probably truth to that safety in numbers ideology, but at the same time that only worked when no one was a liability. And from his perspective, well, that wasn't the case with this group as witness to Teddie taking manic scissors to his hair and him unpersonning himself in the span of like ten minutes.
Luckily, Teddie saved Timothy by continuing the conversation train and following Ellis's suggestion of trying to work out what to do, going back under the rollup door that was probably gonna become a revolving door by the end of today. Timothy just gave him a fake smile like a dad accepting and posting his child's very nice scribble drawing on the refridgerator, quickly melting when Teddie disappeared into the dark.

Eden could only raise an eyebrow at Timothy and she let out a small, nervous chuckle. As much as she did feel unsure about staying with Jack, she didn't want to abandon him after she had pretty much promised him that she won't. Heck, she had chased down Ellis to make sure that he wasn't alone and defenceless. She knew that she would have to just be honest with Timothy. She also cringed a bit on the inside when Timothy called Jack a looney tune. Her siblings thought that she was insensitive? Well, then!
Ellis commented about them having shelter and that was a valid point as well. So she nodded in agreement.
"Yes, Timothy. We want to stay with him." She said with a small smile.

T-Jack walked over to the jeep and got inside. He finished his energy bar and downed half a water bottle. Jack then grabbed his scissors from his first-aid kit, he was given a tent instead of a weapon so he had to make due. Jack then curled up in a ball, scissors in a death grip as he silently wept and tried to go to sleep. These games lasted for days, this may be his only chance to rest. "I have to win this. I have to survive." He muttered to himself like a mantra. No one would protect him so he had to protect himself.

At those answers, Timothy didn't smile back and just cemented his frown harder, pulling his arm back and sighing with a tinge of frustration. People could do what they wanted, he got that, he got that he wasn't no cop. He didn't care, he kept telling himself.
But his mind kept going back to Kiera. Would she still be alive if he stuck with her?
Another sigh, this time with a touch of self-defeat before he crossed his arms.
"...Want me to hang with you guys for a little bit, just in case? I don't got any other plans anyway."

Eden was in agreement for using the garages as shelter. Jack had also already made his way inside. Ellis sighed in relief. They could finally get out of the outdoors and try to warm up a bit.
Timothy also asked if he could join them.
"Sure," Ellis said. "You know. Please don't kill us if you come in. Hehe."
Ellis made his way under the door and inside. The garage was no hotel suite, but at the least he was finally inside.

Eden nodded in agreement with what Ellis said, but she didn't believe that Timothy would be that bold enough to try to kill all of them. That would be pretty different for him to do when she had a weapon on hand anyway.
"Yeah, it's no problem if you want to stay with us. I doubt you'll try to stab us all in our sleep...." She then just shrugged her shoulders casually. "But well, trust is pretty hard to have in this situation. Paranoia really gets to people's heads too easily."
She then followed after Ellis. Hoping to get some warmth.
