Appearance: Thomas Shaw stands at 5'11" and weighs 142 pounds, giving him a slim, lanky frame. His physical appearance reflects his bi-racial background, with Filipino and Caucasian ancestry. His skin is light brown, which complements his Caucasian features. Thomas has a long, narrow face with sharp, angular contours. His hair is short and black, typically appearing messy and unkempt, as though he does not pay much attention to styling it. His eyebrows are straight, and his eyes are round, brown, and framed by his distinctive, rimless glasses. He has thin lips and a Nubian-shaped nose, with large ears that can easily be seen. Thomas’s usual attire consists of worn denim pants and a black puffy jacket, which he adjusts according to the weather—zipping it up when it’s cold and either leaving it unzipped or tying it around his waist when it’s warm. His T-shirt varies, usually featuring movie references or simple solid colors. Additionally, he wears a small digital pedometer on his right wrist to track steps and time, and a rosary hangs around his neck.
Biography: Thomas was born on November 23rd, 2006 in Las Vegas to his parents Kevin and Emily. His father worked as a lawyer, while his mom worked in advertising. Although his family was middle class, his parents made sure to be very careful with their money, allowing his family to live quite comfortably, and Thomas to never have to worry about anything. He was soon joined by a younger sister, Sara, born on March 29th, 2009. He would also much later have another younger sister named Anne, who would be born on July 15th, 2020.
Growing up, Thomas’ first love became apparent very young. While his mother liked technology, his father was a massive anti-tech guy, leaving Thomas to spend his childhood never using a phone, iPad, or computer. Movies were the main thing he was allowed to watch, and it became clear that Thomas loved them. As a baby and toddler, he would become mesmerized by the moving pictures on the screen. As he began to talk, he would beg his parents to let him watch the various films that were coming out, and he would always try to be in the same room as the TV to watch what new film his parents discovered. His top three favorite movies were Back To The Future one, two, and three, due to them being comedic, thought-provoking, and having plenty of theories for those who would try to look deeper. This also worked to his parent’s advantage, punishing him by making sure he couldn’t watch TV if he misbehaved.
This caused two things to happen. The first was that it disciplined Thomas and helped him from becoming a spoiled brat. The second was that it fostered his liking of books. It started with comics and slowly built into more and more complex books. When Thomas started elementary school, he would always get the highest grades in reading and history. While Thomas would read whatever he could, his preferred type of book was historical stories about the United States in the 20th century. Thomas loved trying to find parallels between the past and today and also examining why some presidents were seen as amazing while others were seen as awful. Those sorts of stories allowed him to think hard about various ideas, making him much more thoughtful. However, the only genre Thomas despised was love stories since they always made him uncomfortable, which would stay with him for the rest of his life. Whenever a love scene in a movie came on or while he was reading a book, he would still go through it but always feel disgusted. He also would read the stories that were supposed to be comedic, but never really found them funny. The only ones he found funny were comics, and Thomas couldn't help himself when he found a really funny one, which would always burst out into laughter no matter the occasion. Once, he was at a wedding at the age of four for one of his mom's friends, and he brought with him a Calvin And Hobbes book. Thomas had been reading the book instead of watching the wedding, and right after the priest told the groom he could now kiss the bride, Thomas burst into loud laughter, something his family still teases him for.
One day when Thomas was five, his family had brought him to the library to check out books. While there, he found a book all about a band he had never heard of before. Once he began reading the book, he fell in love with the Beatles and how fascinating their story was. He began to read as much as possible about The Beatles, and he eventually began to listen to their music, instantly loving every second of their music. At first, his preference was for their early work because of how catchy they were, but as Thomas got older he began to like their later work much better because of how mysterious and complex they were. Thomas was a self-proclaimed Beatles superfan, one Halloween dressing up as Ringo, which he jokingly said was because he was too ugly to be any of the others. His favorite Beatles member was Paul McCartney, and he did manage to meet Paul when his family was vacationing in Britain. Thomas would always remember the moment when Paul told him how Thomas seemed like the sort of chap to be famous. In nearly everything he created, he would always try to find some way of sneaking the Beatles into it somehow, either through their music, their lyrics, or their names.
During elementary school, Thomas was a very popular kid and seemed very skilled in the art of talking. He liked to talk about his knowledge of movies, books, and music. His thoughtfulness allowed him to have plenty of good conversations. This also greatly helped his sister, Sara, who was terrified of talking to others, so Thomas would help out Sara by finding friends for her. The two were inseparable, even if they didn't like the same things. Sara hated films, and thanks to her friends began loving the theater, which Thomas never truly cared for. One thing both of them loved however was video games. As the two grew older the restrictions on technology became less and less, which allowed them to begin playing video games in third grade. The first ever games Thomas was exposed to were the old-school Nintendo games, with the likes of Super Mario, Legend Of Zelda, and his personal favorite was 1943: The Battle of Midway. Eventually, his family won an Xbox at a lottery, and Thomas gained his new favorite games Cuphead, Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption, and its sequel. However, there was a limit of one hour per day, but even with that slim window, Thomas and Sara would bond greatly over video games. Video games were also a great way for Thomas to connect with friends despite the limited time, which is why he usually tried to hang out at his friend's houses to play there.
In Thomas’ fifth grade year, he and a partner were given the task of creating a stop-motion animation film. It was there that Thomas discovered how much fun filmmaking was creating a story which was about the three little pigs but with Italian sharks and dolphins. When he showed his animation, the class received it very well. However, Thomas remembered it and would tell others his class gave him a standing ovation. It was then and there that Thomas would decide that he wanted to pursue a life a filmmaking.
He soon headed over to middle school, and while in sixth grade, he discovered Dungeons and Dragons and became fascinated by it. He would buy the starter box, learn as much as he could about DnD, and join the TTRPG club. While at the club, he would also learn about the various other systems that were used, and gain many friends. Thomas always liked to create very charismatic characters that were low in strength, and whenever he used those sorts of characters, Thomas’ characters would always become a laughingstock, which Thomas always found hilarious. After seeing the hilarity of these sessions, Thomas began trying to become a silly or funny friend, since he began to want to make people laugh. This allowed him to gain even more friends, and he became a well-known guy at school.
While in middle school, he would also get a film class elective, where in the class he and a group of five other kids would make roughly four films each year. Almost every film Thomas made would be comedic, and further his existing reputation around school. His filmmaking would also show how hardworking he was at the things he cared about. He worked nonstop at script writing, editing, and directing. He also made sure to get his sister Sara in as many films as possible, and many complimented Sara as a very good actor.
Things would change dramatically in his 8th-grade year when the 2020 pandemic suddenly came. Another massive event came when on July 15th, 2020, his mom gave birth to Thomas’ baby sister, Anne, who was diagnosed with Down syndrome. The pandemic was tough, but thanks to both of Thomas’ parents having jobs that could be done from home, things didn’t get worse than before. Anne would quickly become the focus of the family's love. Everyone would become protective of Anne, but Thomas took his job the most seriously. He would always be worried about Anne, but slowly become less and less protective. Thomas knew that Anne was the obvious favorite child, but he understood that. Sara, on the other hand, never liked the fact that she was second to Anne. However, she still loves Anne but was more vocal when she got annoyed with her. During this time he learned about SOTF and would begin to spend a lot of time wondering what would happen if he was thrown into SOTF. He never told anybody about what he thought because he was worried about being seen as a horrible person, being willing to do at least a few bad things.
Something Thomas had to come to grips with was that he was not very healthy. During Christmas of 2020, Thomas became very sick, and while he got better, Thomas was worried something like that would happen again. Thomas decided to go for daily runs and ride his bike whenever he could. Thomas was zoned for Southwest Red Rock High School, and when schools finally reopened, Thomas and his family made the unanimous decision for him to ride his bike to school and back, which also helped improve his health greatly. He also started wearing a pedometer which tracks his steps. While others had a hard time adjusting to going back to school, Thomas was able to fit in surprisingly well, which he was able to accomplish thanks to his staying in contact with his friends. He was able to join the horror club, the TTRPG club, and the video game club in his freshman year.
As mentioned earlier, Thomas was fiercely protective of Anne, and this came to a head in early 2022. The Shaw family was at a park when a random teen made fun of Anne. Thomas and the teen got into a heated argument, and before long the two went to blows. The fight ended quickly, with Thomas being able to get in a few hits while the teen gave Thomas a concussion. After this, Thomas began to believe that he was an awful person, even when his family told him the opposite, he still felt it was true. Because of this, Thomas decided to ask his father for help. His dad told him that the Catholic Church helped him and that it could help Thomas. This caused Thomas to research as much as he could about the Catholic Church. In this, he spent months looking at every part of Catholicism, seeing all the various arguments, as well as other religions, though not as much as Catholicism. The main thing he discovered that caused him to personally think that the Catholic church was the best religion out there was when he began to see how the Catholic church had a good argument against nearly everything. This led him to want to do the rosary and go to mass two times every week. After this, he began to feel more calm and at peace, something Thomas cares greatly for. This was something he had never told his friends, mainly because the conversation never went to it. He made sure to wear his rosary daily and proudly display it, but nobody cared.
After Thomas' senior year of high school, he plans to go to Saint John Paul University to continue his filmmaking plans, and after that, he is still thinking about either going into Hollywood or creating independent films. For now, he usually does filmmaking as a hobby he and his friends do. The main clubs he was a part of were the horror club, the video game club, and the TTRPG club. Thomas has had all A's throughout his time in High school, thanks to a strong work ethic where schoolwork comes first. His best class was social studies, having a 98% in class. His least favorite class was math, which has dipped to 92% due to quizzes, and Thomas has been frantically trying to keep this grade above a B. In senior year, his relations with his family were at an all-time high, except for Sara. This was because Thomas was getting more mature, and doing more adult things, which his parents constantly rewarded him for. Meanwhile, Sara was going through a goth phase, which her parents hated. The main reason was due to the attention both Thomas and Anne were getting. Thomas has tried constantly to help out Sara and while they still hang out now and then, their relationship is much more distant. The exact opposite is true with Thomas and Anne, who are constantly together, mainly because his parents usually give Thomas babysitter duty, something Thomas takes very seriously.
Overall, Thomas was a pleasant guy to be around and had a mostly calm personality, unless something he cared about went wrong in a way he couldn’t fix. His overall mindset was that if something goes wrong, it can easily be fixed in the future. For his age he was very mature, having never smoked, drank any alcohol, never having gotten in trouble once, and usually having the most common sense out of his group of friends. Although he spends his time with friends cracking jokes and having conversations about stupid things, he always comes up with a reasonable reason for the side he's on. During his time in high school, he made a total of three personal films, all of them being very good.
Advantages: Thomas is intelligent and skilled in conversation. Though not particularly strong, his daily runs and bike rides to school have given him impressive speed and endurance, allowing him to keep going while others collapse in pain. Socially, he may not be the most charismatic, but he can usually keep a cool head and give a reasonable answer when in an argument.
Disadvantages: Despite his active lifestyle, his physical strength would be lacking in any situation using his upper body. He's also very kind and compassionate, which could easily be taken advantage of.

Appearance: Chester is 6’ 1’’, weighs 187 pounds, and is a caucasian, very tanned male with a rectangular build. He likes to wear skin-tight T-shirts, varying in colors that show his muscles. He also wears baggy jeans along with a pair of white Nike Air Force shoes. He has blonde hair, which is in the style of a pompadour haircut very similar to Elvis Presley. He has a square head with bushy eyebrows and dark brown, downturned eyes, which are usually covered by sunglasses that rest on his Roman nose. He has very thin lips, which are usually chapped. Whenever he can, he is usually seen with a guitar in his hands.
Biography: Chester Mullivan was born on December 29th, 2006, in Austin, Texas, as the only child of Andrew and Jill Andrew and Jill were high school sweethearts, who got married right after college and opened up an injury law firm called “Mullivan Law” which was very successful. Chester grew up spoiled, getting everything he wanted due to his family’s wealth and his parent’s lax feelings on punishments. It also didn't help that his parents would work all the time, causing Chester to spend most of his childhood with his grandma, who also spoiled him. Despite being a very rich kid, he was disliked and had no friends due to his tantrums. When Chester had tantrums, he would scream and cry until he got his way. Thanks to the many pleas of the school to do something, His parents never punished him but eventually, thanks to the school's constant pleas, got him a therapist, which didn't show any signs of helping. Chester would spend almost all of elementary school with no friends, and the only main interaction he received was during assigned playdates his parents got him, which almost never ended well.
One day in fifth grade, Chester’s PE teacher organized a game of football and immediately noticed Chester’s skill. Despite never having played before, the PE coach immediately noticed Chester's energy and force. His PE teacher told Chester’s parents that if Chester practiced, he could become a very good player on the school's team. Chester decided to join because in Texas football players were treated as superstars, and Chester wanted to be one. However, he didn't make the team, mainly due to having no experience at all, and would have to wait until he entered middle school. At middle school, Chester's decision to join the football team was solidified when he discovered that football players were treated as royalty, having an entourage following players whenever they could. This made Chester immediately want to join the football team, and began to throw all his energy into practicing football. His main focus was to ascend to the same status as the other football players, having many friends and being well-liked. The main reason for this was simply because he never had that while growing up as a kid. Chester's practice paid off, and he made it onto the team. Thanks to the discipline needed to stay on the football team, he would stop having tantrums, although problems would still follow him.
By eighth grade, he was the best player on the team, but things were not going well. Although he did not have tantrums anymore, he still had anger issues. This would cause problems, as he had a habit of shunning many people out of his life if they did anything he deemed wrong. He had his entourage, but it was a small one, as many were scared of him. He felt alone since he knew most of his friends were with him to only mooch off of him. His parents never did anything, mainly because Chester felt they wouldn't help with anything. However, he would one day become friends with a transfer to the school, named Lila. Chester loved Lila because he felt she liked him simply for who he was, which Chester realized was what he always wanted. Lila would encourage Chester to take up the guitar, which he did. He would get his parents to buy a $3,000 guitar and begin practicing. He discovered how soothing it felt to play guitar, and his guitar playing would lead him to discover 50’s music. He would fall in love with the music along with the rock stars who had created that music. Some examples included Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry. Another important thing about their relationship was that Lila talked about how girls like how a guy's hair is styled. She liked pompadour, so he decided to style his hair in a pompadour style. He and his girlfriend would eventually suffer a very messy breakup, and Chester would stop playing guitar, although his love for music stayed with him, as it helped him through the breakup. He also kept pompadour since he wanted to emulate Elvis.
At the end of eighth grade, Chester would receive a bombshell that his family was moving to Las Vegas, to expand their law firm and make more money, and would be moving right after Eighth grade wrapped up. Despite all of Chester’s arguing, his parents refused to budge. The final catalyst was when Chester was in school and announced he was moving. He was shocked to discover that the only people who cared were his coaches. After the move to Las Vegas, he became very resentful and angry and began going to Southwest Red Rock High School. He still joined the football team but was a mediocre player since he didn’t practice like he used to. It didn’t help that Chester would get an enemy named Yusup Almas at the beginning of Freshman year. The two had gotten off to a rough start, and it would get worse and worse as the year progressed, both being angry young teens who fed off of each other's anger. It eventually ended with a massive fight in sophomore year. The two were eventually separated by the administration, and both of them were suspended for nearly two weeks.
After that incident, Chester had a realization that if he was going to keep acting like this, he could easily see his future ending very badly. He confided to his therapist, who would suggest that Chester could go back to playing the guitar. After going back to playing the guitar, he would begin to try and keep his anger issues in check. By senior year, Chester had improved immensely, although not completely. Thanks to taking his therapist meetings seriously, and working hard on football, and guitar playing, he has gotten genuine friends, who he feels remind him why he should keep his anger in check. However, Chester's anger issues have come out, if very rarely. When these happen, he has been known to sort of explode if he feels extremely stressed and doesn't have access to anything that soothes him. His grades aren’t the best, being a C average, but Chester doesn’t mind that much. His mentality was that if a grade was passing it was fine. Football was what he focused on the most, and he planned on heading to UNLV using football scholarships. Because of this plan, Chester has kept practicing hard for football, being seen as one of the best on the team, which has kept him very well-known in school. His personality has improved greatly, as he is very friendly to all he is around, although those who have never met him feel that he is very intense, seeming to be holding something in. Adding on to that, some who meet him or see him feel intimidated due to his appearance and knowledge of his massive fight in sophomore year, although Chester has tried to distance himself from what he believes to be his old self. Another slight problem is that, while he doesn't dislike his parents, he also feels they never helped him out through the many events of his life and is much closer to his grandma than to his parents.
Advantages: His physical strength is impeccable, and he is well-liked among his friends, who care about him. If he has a massive outburst that leads to a fight, he would win in a hand-to-hand fight.
Disadvantages: While he is friendly and well-liked, his appearance can easily scare someone who doesn’t know him or has only heard rumors about his massive fight or his infamous outbursts.

Appearance: Samuel is 6’4” caucasian and weighs 206 pounds. He wears the same clothing every day, which is a white collared shirt with a black vest over, along with black pants. He is very muscular, having a square head, He has short, brown curly hair, large ears, a straight nose, and green almond eyes.
Biography: Samuel was born on January 1st, 2006, becoming the first baby born of the year in a small Amish community in Colorado. Growing up, Samuel exhibited great strength and learned the carpenter trade. However, Samuel grew up fascinated with the other nearby modern towns, and would often head over to look in awe at the cars, phones, and food. However, Samuel's parents would become horrified when he bought a phone, and banned him from visiting those towns. Samuel would often wish he could live in those places, and he got his wish.
A fire broke out on April 15th, 2019, and the whole town was enveloped in flames. While nobody was hurt, the whole community had nowhere to go, and so they were moved to various towns across the country. Samuel’s family was moved to Las Vegas, where his family was forced to join apart to the modern world. Luckily, they were able to find a nearby carpenter shop, and so Samuel and his family were able to work there.
However, Samuel’s parents were now worried about Samuel’s future. A friend told them about how great the life of a football player was, and they decided to enroll him in high school, which Samuel hated.
Samuel spent his time in high school with very few friends, picking up some here and there. They mainly came from football, although not many. The friends he has are because those were people who tried to make an effort to get to know him. He drifted across all the various clubs the school could offer and only officially joined the video game club along with the horror club. On the field, Samuel is a beast, usually kept as an offensive linebacker. Samuel doesn’t receive much glory, but Samuel doesn’t mind too much. Samuel was always a rebellious kid and all this anger of everything started to befriend people apart from a very not good people.
Samuel is a guy stuck trying to do two opposite things at the same time. He wears classic Amish clothing to stay with his roots (mainly because his parents force him to), but he loves all the technology the modern world has to offer. He grew up very strict and still abides by those rules, but he also has joined a group of very bad people. He is a football player, which means he should be popular, but he is too distant to make many friends.
Advantages: Samuel’s strength is obvious, and he spends his days smashing into the opposite team with frightful efficiency. He is also friends to some pretty bad people, who could certainly help him when on the island.
Disadvantages: Samuel is not very social, and he could easily be at a disadvantage when trying to de-escalate a situation or join an alliance. Plus, his friends are quite bad, and could easily take advantage of him.

Appearance: Kaede is 5’ 7’’ and weighs 149, she has black straight hair that goes all the way down to her chest. She looks full of life and has a spring in her step. Her face is small and her face shape is almost completely round and symmetrical, showing her dark, brown, piercing eyes. Her clothing choices vary dramatically from day to day. One day she will have a ponytail with a vibrant sweater with baggy denim pants. The next day she will be wearing bangs along with a crop top and sweatpants.
Biography: Kaede Miller was born on December 29th, 2006, to her rich upper-class family. her parents are parents, Jeanne and Bernard, and grew up alongside her older brother Jerry, who is two years her senior. From a young age, it was clear that Kaede had a natural flair for the dramatic. She was drawn to the stage, participating in various plays during elementary school. By the time she reached middle school, she landed the coveted role of Juliet in the 8th-grade play, which further cemented her passion for theater.
When Kaede entered Red Rock High School, she wasted no time diving into the school’s theater program, committing herself fully to her craft. She quickly became known as one of the hardest-working students in the program, with a reputation for giving her all during rehearsals, performances, and everything related to theater. Despite her intense dedication to her roles, Kaede remains a cheerful and outgoing individual, beloved by her peers for her infectious personality.
She has a massive social circle and is known for her kindness and warmth. Her friends admire her not only for her talent but also for her ability to make everyone feel welcome. However, Kaede's passion for the arts tends to overshadow her academic performance. While she does work hard in her studies, her focus often drifts more toward theater than her grades. This results in a B average, with occasional C’s, which she doesn’t stress over too much. Her philosophy in life is that it's the experience of the journey, not just the grades or achievements, that matters most.
Kaede’s energy extends beyond her theater life; she approaches her daily life with the same level of enthusiasm and charisma. She also loves dancing, which made her want to join the dance team. However, if anyone is rude or mean to her once, she will shun that person. Plus, she can act mean sometimes when she is having a bad day, then act as if nothing ever happened. Whether it’s hanging out with friends, participating in school events, or simply enjoying her hobbies, Kaede treats each moment as an opportunity for self-expression and joy. She is currently writing a book with a few of her friends they have been working on it since freshman year.
Advantages: Socially, Kaede is very charismatic and can lie quite well thanks to her acting, while physically she has high stamina and very good dexterity.
Disadvantages: While Kaede is nice, she can also shun those who don’t share her interests and even openly hate someone rude to her, never being able to act like she hates someone. Plus, she is not physically strong, and would never win a hand-to-hand fight against someone who is either the same or higher level than her.
