So basically, the ending of V8 provides some unique circumstances compared to previous versions, and even previous escapes, given the amount of survivors and how late in the game the escape occurred. Meaning, lots of simmering drama between the survivors, lots of lingering feelings, and also, a lot of the survivors have a body count, and must carry the ramifications of said body count into the real world.

So, I think personally it'd be a really fun idea if all of this is hashed out in a very, very public scene. Thus the press con.

This press conference thread would take place after the survivors are released from the military base, post-January 3. Basically anyone is free to join within reason, be it a survivor themself, family member/friend of someone who didn't survive, journalist, random bystander filming for WorldStar, etc. The rough outline that has been hashed out so far, via Discord, is that it would take place at a one-on-one press con interview with a survivor wishing to discuss their experience/ask questions of the government, when some of the other survivors take this opportunity for public confrontation.

I recognize this is a very rough outline. I've set up a Discord channel so further details of the scene can be hashed out, and also so that, if the scene becomes large enough, we can coordinate better, because I do love Mess, but I also love orderly, fun-to-read Mess.
