Hello !!! I’m Cruxin / Kristy and I’m completely new to all this but here’s the thread I got told to make yippee

I am not currently planning to add any more characters than my two girls, this might change but I think it’s enough for me to manage for now lol

Alyson and Ebony!! My two personal characters, unattached to any fandom, tied closely to one another. Have had them for a while but not written much and adapting them here is its own beast so things will be flexible and I’m looking forward to laying out relationships and branching out and everything here!

Alyson Solace, 18, she/her

Growing up Alyson was an earnest and bright fangirl, she grew jaded and cynical in her teen years as she was left with parental neglect and loneliness, hard to make friends when you’re drawing or writing all the time. Despite this, her interest in fandom and cutesy aesthetics remains and is entirely earnest. Her parents are rich business types and money has never been a problem but they were always inattentive and abrasive, putting their job over their daughter. Alyson is very self isolating, keeps a few friends but usually at arm’s distance most of the time, and very abrasive to anybody she doesn’t know well. She fills her time with gaming, digital art, small physical and digital craft projects.

• A very small handful of close friends, the only people she’d open up to easily, most likely nerdy like herself

• One or two who really hate each other, maybe a bully, maybe just abrasive personalities and past
• Potentially someone with an unrequited crush on her? She will probably dislike them and never reciprocate (aromantic asexual) but could be an interesting dynamic

Ebony Lisabeth-Brooke, 18, she/her

Shy as a young boy and unsure why she wasn’t comfortable with herself, Ebony gender transitioned early in life very successfully, and is ecstatic to express herself today. She simply loves the look of goth fashion and revels in trying out clothes and accessories, and her confidence leads to her extremely outgoing personality, including parties and a lot of hooking up, a promiscuous lifestyle simply enjoyable for her. She was adopted as a newborn as her birth parents could not afford to raise a child, and her parents took her in happily without issue. She also reconnected comfortably with her birth parents in her later years and even took their surname. She’s a positive, happy person, but by no means perfect - she can be a bit mean but generally meant all in good fun, and is a little bit unhinged crazy eccentric at times, offputting for just a moment with a weird comment or action, though people usually find her charismatic regardless. She is also simply weak intellectually, not an airhead at all but bad at school and any analytical or rational decisions.

• Sylvie Rattray-Aubert [LYourLocalAutist] - Great cheer team friends, fashion buds

Potential relationships:

• Good pals she can party and hang with, maybe implied past hookups if you’re down. Definitely somebody she can flirt with, though she is unlikely to commit
• Friends she knows well from mutual clubs (cheer team agenda... yes)
• Potentially someone who dislikes her for being so ostentatious or promiscuous, puritan upbringing?? Not sure

Their relationship:

Ebony met Alyson during high school happenstance in classes together, and despite Alyson’s abrasiveness Ebony was eager to get to know her, surprising even to herself given her relative lack of commitment to people. She stuck to Alyson for a while, both of them growing close despite Alyson’s best attempts to pry herself away. Ebony eventually invited her to hook up, which was an entirely new experience to Alyson and extremely daunting, but she agreed. Unfortunately, the experience was awful and awkward for Alyson, later coming to terms with her asexuality and aromanticism. Despite the negative experience Alyson felt begrudgingly appreciative of how well Ebony treated her and how eager she was to spend time with her, and they stayed close since, establishing one another as long term queer-platonic partners.

Even though they’re so close, the two spend a lot of time with very different lives and social circles. Despite this, if you have any specific dynamic or relationship you’d be interested in involving both of them please let me know that too!

Mitch Vernet - Almost definitely knows Ebony, thinks she's fuckin' awesome. LIKELY passed a blunt around together if she's into that. There may be a tiny chance he's thought about her romantically, though his demi ass doesn't know what to do with that information

Renée Burke - Thinks Alyson is rude and maybe a loser. Entirely based on her grumpy face and 'oil-spill' hairstyle

ebony is not responsible enough for anyone involved to allow her a car,, except for alyson who's she totally borrows all the time and especially with that mutual angle theyd definitely work out casually hehe

• Ray and Alyson seem like the sort who might have developed some amount of closeness over being similar degrees of ultra giga fandom nerds. Aesthetics... etc. Literally drawing all the time, so on. Alyson would peep the art because Ray doesn't hide it, so on. He's also fairly easy to keep any amount of distance with because he can maintain a distance himself, comes with the whole being an introverted shut in energy, etc. I think they'd be on pretty solid terms!
• This is more of a through Ebony type relationship, but she'd have contact with Clarissa because the Range Rover needs that work (Clarissa and Raya are something of a duo when it comes to the whole cars thing). With how reclusive Alyson is as a person I doubt they'd know each other in any way except a) in passing and b) if Ebony ever discusses cheer team hijinks (the agenda)
• I did need some rich acquaintances for Priscilla to be on terms with. From what I can tell, Alyson fell out with her parents over time, not from the get? So when she was younger she was more in line with the whole 'you are the heiress of our fortune blah blah' whatever sort of grooming for the post Alyson's parents expected of her? There's a similar echo with Priscilla there where she was originally the one doing all the rich girl things but bounced after she fell out with her parents as a teen. So like, if they have that in common there might be some sort of respect there. Knew each other as rich people kids, both grew out of identifying as that, but still know of each other and have that solidarity. They probably rarely talk if ever but that's fine with Priscilla.

• Clarissa! Simple as. As noted above with Alyson, but Ebony is the one Clarissa actually knows and talks to for the most part. Because cheerleaders (agenda). So yeah, in terms of personality, I think they'd get along very well! Neither is very strong academically and both have their eccentricities that the other cheer girls have to Put Up With. Clarissa tends to gravitate to charismatic folks because they make it easier for her to turn her brain off in a social setting and just go with the flow. Clarissa is also horrible at fashion so Ebony can join the list of girls who have failed to make Clarissa stop looking like she gets her clothes from a landfill.
  
  And as a note she probably did not really get the queer-platonic thing initially so there could be a one off moment in their past where Ebony took a pass at Clarissa and Clarissa was like 'wait arent you already with Alyson' and Ebony needed to explain and direct her to the proper research and now Clarissa gets it.
