Name: Josie Lynn Castellaneta
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12th Grade
School: Southwest Red Rock High School
Hobbies and Interests: Mixed-Martial Arts, Cheerleading, Pro Wrestling, Romance Novels, Poetry

Appearance: Josie is a woman of average height, standing at 5’5” and weighing 130lbs. She is Caucasian and of Irish-Italian descent. Josie has light skin, borderlining on pale at times due to a lack of tanning, with an oval-shaped head, hooded brown eyes with neatly trimmed eyebrows, a round, average-shaped nose and small, narrow lips, sometimes marked with a pimple by her bottom lip. Josie has frilly brown hair that she keeps tied in space buns. Josie has an slender yet busty, athletic frame with noticeable muscle tone and strong thighs. Josie’s voice is raspy and low, although extremely powerful when angered.

In terms of clothing, Josie often wears athletic and comfortable clothing, usually being found with an unzipped jacket, T-Shirts and denim shorts. On occasion, however, Josie will attempt to feminize herself by wearing midriff-exposing clothes or tight-fitting miniskirts, particularly when attempting to impress her crush. On the day of the abduction, Josie was wearing a black jacket with an orange buttoned shirt with a white tank top, blue denim shorts and black combat boots.

Biography: Josie Castellaneta was born on April 13th, 2006, becoming the middle child of car salesman Eric and retired stay-at-home mother Gertrude. Eric and Gertrude first met approximately thirty years ago in Eric’s car dealership, Gertrude admiring Eric’s charisma and charm from afar before finally building up the courage to ask him out. Eric and Gertrude, now in their late fifties, have two other children, older daughter Helen and youngest son Edwin.

Josie’s home life was dysfunctional during her childhood. She would often try to grab her parents’ attention in any way she could, only to be ignored, often because of Helen’s exploits or Edwin needing attention. When Josie did finally grab their attention, she didn’t receive that same level of enthusiasm, her accomplishments being regarded as fine or acceptable.

There was one person in Josie’s life who always seemed to have time for her, however, her grandmother Beatrice. Josie loved being around Beatrice, as she consistently indulged in Josie’s interests. To Josie, Beatrice was the only one who really understood her and her needs. Tragically, Beatrice would pass away in 2013 at the age of 87. Her death affected the family greatly, Josie more so than anyone else. For several years, Josie would have nightmares regarding Beatrice’s death, her grandmother succumbing to increasingly graphic and harsh deaths. With no one to really talk to regarding her wants in life, Josie struggled to cope with the world around her, especially with Helen and Edwin getting all the attention.

Josie had never been an excellent student, at least not during elementary school as she’d hover around the C grade for most of her classes, her best being English. What people remembered her most for, however, was how angry she could get. Josie would often blow up in someone’s face or rant about what was happening. This often would lead to parent and teacher conferences where Eric and Getrude would be urged to find the root of Josie’s issues. With Gertrude delving into alcoholism and Eric focusing on his business, however, they instead let Josie be with Helen. Despite Josie resenting Helen’s status, she would at least listen to Helen when needed and her calming techniques did help in the short term. Her biggest issues remained unchecked.

This aggressive behavior reached an apex during third grade when, for the first time in her life, Josie got into a fight with another student. The fight ended with both students bruised and suspended, with Josie in particular on the verge of expulsion. That was when Helen suggested that Josie see a psychiatrist to understand the root of her problems. Upon entering therapy, Josie would learn about ways to channel her emotions in constructive and healthy ways. She would gain a diary to write about her innermost thoughts and calming mechanisms she could use if overwhelmed or angered.

While these mechanisms and plans helped, Josie felt she still needed a physical outlet to really take the edge off. One fateful night, however, while looking through YouTube, she stumbled across highlights from a bout between two MMA fighters, Connor McGregor and Nate Diaz. From the moment the video started, Josie was hooked. She was desperate to learn more about the world of MMA and what it entailed. The more she did, the more she learned about the various styles of fighting, as well as the exploits of Connor McGregor.

At the age of ten, Josie enrolled in a kickboxing class for youths and, despite being something of a late bloomer, Josie took to the sport quickly, showcasing fast hands, educated feet and thanks to her teachers, a strong level of discipline. Now better equipped to handle school and home life, Josie’s outbursts became less common. During this time, she made a few friends within the kickboxing class, some of whom were massive wrestling fans. One night, Josie would be invited to a friend’s house to watch a pay-per-view, WWE Backlash. Unsure of what it was she was getting into, Josie reluctantly agreed to join them. By the end of the night, she was hooked. She fell in love with the pomp and circumstance the wrestling industry had to offer, especially when it came to one wrestler in particular, Becky Lynch. Captivated by her every move and her larger-than-life personality, Josie became a diehard fan of the Irish Lasskicker and of WWE in general. Josie also claims that this was her sexual awakening.

As Josie entered Red Rock High School, she started to deal with the effects puberty was having on her body and mind. Before freshman year, Josie’s psychiatrist suggested that she join the cheerleading club to further grow her social circle and channel her athleticism into something productive. Despite her initial reservations on taking part in something that she felt was girly, Josie found herself fitting in decently well, finding common ground with some of the more tomboyish cheerleaders as well as a crush on another, although she will vehemently deny it.

Josie also began to notice students complimenting her appearance more often, even being invited to parties and hangouts. Outside, this irritated her to no end, finding the new attention annoying. Inside, however, she was both parts flustered and confused by the comments, having not dealt with this much attention. In order to understand, Josie purchased several romance novels to read during one summer vacation. In truth, she didn’t learn anything. Even then, Josie grew intrigued with each passing novel, poking fun at the often questionable writing and over-the-top scenarios, while fantasizing about being in those same scenarios with her crush.

Despite her progress since elementary school, Josie still occasionally has fits of rage, though in her mind, they are more justified than before. One time, Edwin had been caught cheating some people out of their cash, running one of his get rich quick schemes. When Josie confronted Edwin, her young brother tried to shift the blame until finally, he attempted to invoke the family. That tactic ended with Josie hitting a roundhouse kick that left Edwin with a broken nose. Josie, for her part, was suspended for two weeks, but maintains that she did what was right.

Even then, Josie felt she needed a creative outlet that would allow her to fully get her feelings out into the world. One night, Josie would find a book while cleaning the attic and became enthralled by the prose. Her parents informed her that it was one of Beatrice’s books and that she was a successful and published poet for most of her life.

Inspired by her grandmother’s exploits, Josie began writing poetry herself, using it as an outlet to vent her frustrations either to herself or regarding others in a constructive, creative way. At first, she kept her poems to herself, wanting to stay mum about personal life. When Josie was told about a poetry contest that was happening in school, however, her friends convinced her to sign up. Despite her hesitancy, Josie ultimately did, winning first place in the process. By doing so, Josie won a gift card for a restaurant of her choosing and got to read her poem out loud during an assembly.

Josie’s relationship with her family has consistently been rocky, although strides have been made over the years, primarily with Josie and her mother, Gertrude. The death of Beatrice hit Gertrude hard, harder even than Josie as she turned to the bottle. Josie, seeing how poorly her mother was taking Beatrice’s death, tried to be there for her and as the years went on, Josie kept making a habit to spend at least some time with Gertrude, even during her lowest points. Josie also helped Gertrude during her stint in rehab, using her experience with therapy as an example. Gertrude credits Josie for her now being five years sober.

Josie’s relationship with her father used to be chillier, however, as Eric often neglected her for his older daughter, Helen and later, her youngest brother, Edwin. Josie’s efforts to help Gertrude with her alcoholism helped Eric understand how important Josie was to the family. He took it upon himself to enroll the family into group therapy to try and talk their issues out, finding further common ground when Josie learned that he too was the neglected child of his family.

Josie has a conflicted relationship with her sister Helen. Often seen as the better sister and the success of the family, Josie resented the attention she would receive from her parents and felt she was the reason she acted out the way she did. Helen on the other hand was never the most involved in Josie’s life, although when they did interact, she was always cordial, if not at times superficial. Now an adult, Josie admits that it was silly to hold such a grudge on Helen for matters they couldn’t control and appreciates her for helping her improve mentally.

Josie loathes Edwin and the ground he walks on. A self-proclaimed entrepreneur, Edwin is always in the market of scamming others and making a profit, especially when it comes at the expense of Josie’s friends. Josie is always quick to call out Edwin on his stunts, and is the reason why he has the reputation of a joke in Red Rock. Edwin meanwhile thinks Josie is a bully who loves picking on him because it’s, allegedly, acceptable to others. He hopes to one day take down Josie a peg.

In school, Josie remains an average student, hovering around a C average. Her best class still remains English, with poetry taking her main interest in terms of studies. As Josie approaches the end of her senior year, she plans to accomplish a few things before summer break. First, she plans to confess her feelings to her crush. Then, she plans to tell Eric exactly how she feels about him. Once done, she’ll move out of home and move closer to California so she can train to become a professional fighter, with wrestling as a backup plan just in case. She also plans to apply at University of Southern California for a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Psychology.

Advantages: Josie is a practiced combatant with good stamina and agility, meaning she can throw a strong punch during melee combat. Josie has also developed a high tolerance of pain thanks to said combat training.
Disadvantages: Josie’s abrasiveness and hesitancy to interact with others could alienate potential allies, as can her hot-headed nature. Josie doesn’t cope with the idea of dying well at all, having lost her grandmother in the past.
