Appearance: Kristian is 5-foot-10-inches tall and 135 pounds. He has messy black hair with a hint of brown, which falls down over his forehead in thick strands. It also hangs down in the back around his neck. He has very pale skin, being born to a Danish father and a Danish-Irish mother. He has little acne, but his pale complexion makes the few zits he has stand out. They are mostly located on his cheeks around his nose. He is very thin, to where you could clearly see the outline of his ribs when he is shirtless, but is not concerned with gaining weight. He has almost no visible muscle except for on his arms. He has a long face, with thin cheeks, a thin upper lip, and a long, thin nose. His large green eyes are far apart on his head, just above the back end of his nose. He has high, thin eyebrows, which are mostly covered by his hair. He has a wide mouth, with very prominent front teeth which come out in his smile. His teeth are straight and white, and he has never worn braces nor had a cavity. He typically wears either plain t-shirts or one of his many turtlenecks over long khakis. He always wears a thick, red, sleeveless jacket, which he refers to as his "Marty McFly jacket." He sometimes has a hard time reading due to slightly blurred vision, so he wears his reading glasses at all times. He will usually let them slide down his nose and look over them unless he is reading something, in which case he will push them up.

Biography: Kristian was born in suburban Seattle, about twenty minutes from Aurora High School by car. He was born on June 13th, 1994. His mother (Margaret) left his father (Jakob) shortly after he was born. Kristian's father already had a job as a fire marshal at the time of his birth, and his mother was a senior in college going for her degree. His mother did not want to stay with his father and didn't have a steady enough income or home to raise the child herself, so she granted his father custody and stuck to paying child support. By the time she had graduated and found a steady job, she felt she had not been involved enough in Kristian's upbringing to suddenly pop back into his life. Despite his mother's absence, Kristian has kept in touch with his aunt and uncle on his mother's side, seeing them every once in a while for cookouts on holidays - his mother is never present. Kristian's father made a point never to mention Kristian's mother unless Kristian asked, which he never did. Kristian rarely considered the fact that he was raised without a mother, accepting fairly early on that it wasn't important to dwell on the past. He is an only child.

Kristian's father was very involved in his life during the early years of raising the child. While his father wanted to raise him to be strong and physically active, Kristian was more interested in intellectual activities, partially due to his scrawny physique. He did not do very well in most sports that his father enrolled him in, with the exception of soccer, and had very little in terms of physical strength. His father was particularly proud of his soccer ability. The two still get along exceptionally well, despite these differences, and Kristian enjoys his father's pride in him. They often go out for dinner and do other activities together. One of these activities is going to the firing range to practice shooting. Kristian has very poor aim and skill with guns, so they have been going to the range less and less.

As a young boy, Kristian was homeschooled for a short while by his father with the help of an online course planner, but after his job started taking up too much of his time, his father put him in a small school. At his new school, Kristian always strived to be the center of attention. He went through a short period of time where he would throw fits if he did not get what he wanted from the teachers, but slowly started to improve in terms of behavior. After this, his personality shifted more towards that of a class clown. He would occasionally get in trouble for disrupting class with his jokes or comments, but not as often as he used to get in trouble for his fits. Since the school was so small, he put forth great effort into trying to entertain and befriend his classmates; he felt that it was harder to keep a small group of friends than a large one. He had straight A's through all of his earlier school years.

Once he transferred to Aurora High, he quickly found that the over-the-top behavior that had gained him friends in middle school wasn't going to work in the high school environment. He felt that others viewed him as kiddish or thought he was trying too hard. Even though he recognized some of his faults, he found it difficult to tone them down through the first year of high school. After the first year, however, he started to tone down his behavior. Even though he had toned down his more wild behaviors, he still acted friendly towards the other students and loved making new friends.

Kristian had a B-average for most of his time in high school without having to put in too much effort to maintain it. He was intelligent, but did not put much effort into schooling after the shift from middle school. He knew that doing well in school is important, but felt that it was better for him to concentrate on his hobbies and more personal interests. His father strived to promote an interest in his son's learning, occasionally bringing it up if he showed signs of missing too many assignments, but never scolding him for his study habits as long as his grades stayed at a steady level. His favorite class was math, which he enjoyed because it is a purely intellectual class as opposed to one with a heavy reliance on projects or experiments. He always looked at problems logically before following through with a plan. In group work, he often would work by creating a schedule or plan for the others to follow, trying to figure out the best strategy for achieving the goal as a group. He would often work better in groups than on his own, as he knew that not participating in groups would drag others down as well as himself, and he did not want to disappoint his group members. He was a very reliable partner, and focused very hard on group endeavors.

Kristian has had many hobbies which he pursued outside of school. He was a member of the school soccer team, as well as an avid musician. He started playing the guitar during freshman year of high school, and loved singing. He occasionally wrote poetry, mostly song lyrics, but didn't think he was very good. He eventually started getting into electronic music, starting by creating some basic mash-ups of songs he liked. He also played the piano in his spare time, but only played it casually and knew very little in terms of actual songs. He had a very eclectic taste in music that isn't his own, and could find something to enjoy about pretty much everything.

He was very social and his interest in music led him to offer friends his services as a DJ for small parties. He got his first gig as a DJ from a friend in freshman year, and continued to host larger and larger events through his senior year. He became engrossed in the party scene due to this hobby, and often declined pay because he felt that it was unnecessary as long as he was enjoying himself and being invited to perform at more parties. His interest in music and DJ experience also led him to pursue and eventually obtain a job position at the local mix radio station. He worked as an unpaid intern for a while, eventually climbing up the ladder to a paid internship. His duties at the station include sorting music, updating the station's Facebook page, and occasionally helping decide the track list for the station. He has been asked very sparingly to help fill in as a speaker for DJs who were unable to make it to the station. This had only happened three times and had only been for short amounts of time during live events. Still, he would often jokingly brag about his stints as a radio host.

He was always very invested in keeping a good profile with others. He enjoyed having friends, and one of his biggest fears was being alone. He always equated being alone with having no one who wanted to be with him and being rejected. When on his own, he tended to get anxious and show habits such as talking to himself and lying around without interest. Because of these anxieties, he was very trusting of his company and not very argumentative, usually blindly agreeing with whatever those around him would say. He put a lot of effort into being social, and was generally well-liked among those he keeps in his company. He often tried to introduce himself to new people for the sake of having more friends, and learned to adapt to different types of people in order to fall into their circles.

Related to his desire to have friends, Kristian was very involved in romance. He would often jump from one crush to the next over periods of about six months. He considered himself a sap and is a firm believer of true love. His love life was often at the forefront of his mind at any given time. He knew there was a difference between a crush and true love, but always believed that the next crush could be the one that would lead to love. His habit of constantly looking for another potential match also ties back to his fear of being rejected by others. Despite his best efforts to have a real relationship, he only had one girlfriend over the course of his high school years, with whom he had a relationship of about seven months before breaking up with her. He and his girlfriend continued speaking as friends since the break-up, which he considered a success on his part.

Kristian's father worked for the local fire department as a fire marshal and brought in a decent salary to take care of the two-man household. As a fire marshal, he was responsible for investigating and reporting fire-related incidents. He often worked with the police force in regards to arson investigations. Kristian took a large interest in his father's occupation, and his father would often explain to him some of the tips behind investigating fire scenes. He also got to know his father's friends from the police force. As a young child, he was babysat regularly by his father's friends when his father was out at work. He interned for a while in his junior year of high school with the police department. He mainly worked on desk work, as he was only a high-schooler, and his father had to really vouch to even get him a position at all. Still, he got to eat lunch with and hear stories from the actual officers in the field, as well as the other interns who were working with them. This was his favorite part of the day during his internship. He considered following a career in law enforcement as a back-up to working in music, as he enjoyed the idea of doing something different. The promise that he could always be led to do something he had never done before as a police officer appealed to him. Pursuing a goal in law enforcement would also be a plus in that it would impress his father.

Advantages: Kristian is very social and can adapt to new social situations, allowing him to easily blend into new groups of people. He is intelligent in terms of book smarts, and is skilled in developing strategies to reach an ultimate goal once a goal is known due to having a logical mind. He is reliable, and puts great effort into completing tasks when he knows there are others depending on him. Has previous experience with guns, and knows how to reload and use proper trigger discipline.
Disadvantages: Kristian is very trusting and easy to win over in arguments, leading him to be easily manipulated. He is very dependent of others, and would not fare well emotionally on his own, giving in and breaking down due to anxieties. He is very thin and has very little in terms of physical strength. He is slightly farsighted, requiring the use of glasses to read smaller print.
