Appearance: Cynthia is tall and physically fit, standing at 5'8. She's black-haired and wears her hair back in a ponytail. She's Caucasian with a healthy tan, and she has brown eyes. Her face is triangular, ending in a pointed chin, and she keeps her bangs trimmed back, which only serves to accentuate that. Proportionally, her legs are quite long, and she works out regularly, giving her visible muscle definition in her shoulders and legs.

When it comes to clothing, Cynthia is fond of vibrant colors like pink and light blue. She doesn't like skirts much, and so she tends to wear either shorts or blue jeans to school. She also likes wearing baseball caps, and her favorite one bears the logo of the Seattle Mariners, the city's baseball team.

Biography: Cynthia has always been an active girl, even from a young age. She was born the youngest child of a decent-sized family of three kids, including herself. The older two (Jacob, 22 and Ryan, 20) were boys, and the three of them had a fairly happy time together, minus the usual fights that occur between siblings. She and her brothers would frequently play games of basketball in the family yard or, if her parents had the time, they'd play frisbee at the local park.

Cynthia also had a close relationship with her father Michael, a firefighter, who taught her how to play the guitar (since her brothers weren't interested) and also encouraged her to get into sports, leading to her decision to join the school's volleyball team when she was a freshman. Her mother Anna was a stay-at-home mom who sparked Cynthia's enthusiasm for cooking, since her father was never very good at it. She was a heavy smoker and somewhat overweight, both of which were cited as factors in her untimely death.

When Cynthia was 16, her mother died of heart disease, leaving her father depressed and causing him to become more distant to her and her brothers. Nonetheless, Michael remained in his job in order to keep supporting the family, leaving Cynthia primarily with the responsibility of taking care of the house during the times when he had long shifts. She'd learned how to cook when she was younger than that, but now it was a necessity. The loss of her mother was a heavy blow to Cynthia, but she strove to live through it. It still bothers her to think about it, and she tries not to talk about it, either.

At school, Cynthia has a decent number of friends, including those on the volleyball team. She frequently volunteers for school events and jumps at the opportunity to go to parties. She does part-time work at the local supermarket, and this has allowed her to make regular payments on her car, a used Ford station wagon. She's used this car on multiple occasions to drive her friends to events in Seattle such as concerts. Her father has complained about her tendency to be out with friends, but he still tolerates it, so long as she gets her school work done.

Personality-wise, Cynthia is friendly and outgoing, and she enjoys volunteering for things. She tries to avoid talking about serious matters, and feels awkward talking about herself or her life, because she doesn't want to ruin people's mood. She likes to put on a cheerful facade when chatting with friends or members of the team, but she's not very content with her life. When she sets her mind on something, she's determined to see it to the end, and it's difficult to discourage her. She absolutely refuses to do anything related to bugs, snakes, or other creepy-crawly things, however, and high places just make her queasy.

So far as academics go, she has not settled on a choice of major, but her grades on science-related courses are consistently C grade, so she is shying away from that. She is considering pursuing a degree in something related to Political Science instead, since she has an idealistic goal of improving the nation somehow. Her best courses are in home economics and gym, but she has higher ambitions than just being a homemaker. Ideally, she wants to run her own business or something of that nature, but she's not sure what she wants to do yet.

Advantages: She's athletic and active. She's strong-willed, and not likely to break under pressure. She's also used to taking care of herself, so she'll be slow to panic in an unfamiliar situation.
Disadvantages: She's not very bright or ambitious. She's afraid of insects, small rodents, snakes, and other things like that, and she also is prone to getting vertigo from heights. She's never handled a weapon in her life.
