Less Upsetti, More Spaghetti

Here is where all threads set in the past belong. This is the place to post your characters' memories, good or bad, major or insignificant. Handlers may have one active memory thread at the same time as their normal active present-day thread. Memory one-shots are always acceptable.

Less Upsetti, More Spaghetti

#1

Conrad Timothy Harrod walked downstairs, already smelling the dinner. Hmm, meat.

There, his family was. Robert, Henry, Deborah, Reginald and Meredith all sitting at the table, while waiting for him.

He already injected his insulin before he ate, so he was ready. After sitting down, he shortly looked at his cellphone, before Meredith quietly began to say "Conrad, cou-", before Conrad reacted to it by quickly smiling at his mom and putting his phone away.

Today, was spaghetti day.

"So, how was school?"

Reginald David Harrod began a conversation while everybody attempted to eat spaghetti by spinning the forks on the spoon to create a well-sized something that fit into their mouths. Robert was not that successful, always rolling a too big spaghetti ball. Luckily, he spilled nothing.

"It was shitty."

Without looking who spoke, Conrad recognised that it was Henry who said that. His unique, annoying voice. And Robert was more quiet when eating. Because, well he ate.

"Henry!"

Yeah, cursing was not a thing that the parents approved of. The Harrods did not curse.

"Yeah, don't use these words."

Conrad had to act like the older brother. He was more responsible and wiser. But he also said that partly to screw with Henry.

"Shut up, Conrad."

Woah, what a comeback, Henry. How witty. Conrad ignored that. So did the parents. Robert did not, because he was looking at Henry and not his fork.

"Oh, no. Now it dropped again."

And Deb rolled her eyes.
