Year Zero

[Private, Day 4.]

The housing in the town is made up of simple two-story houses, most of these of built in the style of 70s and 80s American suburbs despite being far removed from such a setting. Many of the houses have similar layouts with some divergence: most feature a bottom floor consisting of a kitchen, dining room and living room, a second floor with a master and secondary bedroom, and a bathroom with a tub. A few of the houses have garages, but the vehicles they contained are either gone or have been rendered inoperable.

The wallet hit Daenerys square in the face, making the gash in her cheek flare up to the point that the adrenaline rush failed her. In pain, D sunk to her knees.

By the time she regained herself, not!Abhi had already left to godknowswhere. Fine. Hopefully they would never meet again.

That left her with a wound to deal with. Quickly, she crawled to her backpack and took out the first aid kit. Treating the wound in the middle of the road would be stupid and immpractical, so she only put some bandages onto it to stop the flow of blood.

Now with one hand holding the bandages and the other somehow managing to grab both khopesh and cooler, Daenerys left the scene of the fight and walked around a few corners. There were a few houses catching her view, but one stood out in particular for the writing on its door.

SAFEHOUSE
WAIT HERE FOR HELP

There was more but D didn't bother reading it all as she pushed the door open.

"Coming in!"
