Appearance: Roy is a rather unimposing looking figure, standing just under 5'8" and 140 lbs. His athletic pursuits have given him a whipcord lean swimmer's body, however, making him stronger than he looks. His black hair is usually mussed, but nevertheless manages to suit him rather well. His greenish blue eyes peer from behind silver rimmed glasses that serve to sharpen his gaze and give him something to fiddle with when he's annoyed. His pale complexion, thin lips and high cheekbones give his face an elfish look that some might find strangely alluring. He holds himself with casual bravado, giving off an air of competence and capability.

Biography: Roy Archer defines himself through success. A harshly competitive person, Roy is at his best when he finds himself in a competition with others. He takes pride in winning contests that pit him against his peers, sulking for days when he loses. It is because of his strong penchant for competition that many see Roy as arrogant or overbearing. In response to this, Roy does his best to avoid being pompous, thinking that social graces are just one more set of skills he wishes to be better at than his contemporaries. After all, nobody likes a braggart.

If one were to look past the competitive streak, one would find Roy to be fairly charismatic. He tries to stay in good spirits, and jokes to help others stay at ease as well. He tries his best to be disarming and good company, as quick to joke and carouse as console or advise. Despite his friendly demeanor, because of his competitive nature, Roy can easily become argumentative if someone disagrees with what he says or believes. His odd combination of charisma and arrogance cause the impish boy to be viewed as either incredibly charming or unbearably snide, depending on the time of day and person speaking to him.

An intelligent boy with a sharp wit, nothing can be said about Roy if not that he is bright. He is extremely gifted in critical thinking and planned foresight, making him outstanding at many games of strategy. However, he finds class work to be unbearably difficult, having more than a few problems in sciences and math. In the face of his difficulties, he studies intensively, fighting for every grade. Despite his struggle in his studies, he gives the impression of barely trying for his high marks. Roy delights in showing off, though he would never give anyone the satisfaction of knowing so. He wouldn't want anyone to know that he cared what others thought of him.

Roy has many acquaintances, his looks and confidence making him a realtively popular figure around school, but would be hard pressed to name someone whose company he genuinely enjoys. The few people he considers friends, however, are very precious to him. Being loyal, nearly to a fault, Roy puts up with much more from them than he would from anyone else.

Advantages: Roy is in good physical shape. He has good stamina and is stronger than his body would lead one to believe. His lateral comes in handy, while thinking on his feet or coming up with strategies and ideas.

Disadvantages: Roy's competitive nature and potentially argumentative attitude may make it difficult to work well with other people.
