Lisa Gregors*

Post by Deleted User (V4) »

Name: Lisa Gregors
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
School: Bayview Secondary School
Hobbies and Interests: Creative writing, reading, studying, playing piano

Appearance: Lisa is quite overweight, to put it lightly. She weighs somewhere between 180lbs-210-lbs (she refuses to talk about it) and stands at 5'6" tall. Her hair is long and brown, commonly being held in place with a white hairband, and she wears rather large, rimless glasses that mostly cover her green eyes. Despite her obvious weight problem, she attempts to compensate for it by making sure the rest of her is neat and tidy; her complexion is soft without a single visible blemish and her hair is always well-combed and dandruff free. She is almost always dressed in a black blazer with a matching tie and white undershirt, along with a pleated skirt and knee-high white socks. If Bayview actually had a uniform, this is probably what it would look like...

Biography: Originally born in Scotland, Lisa's parents moved to America soon after her birth as her father had to pursue an important job opportunity there. Despite not being particularly wealthy, her parents made sure she always got the best that they could offer her: the best clothes, food (perhaps too much of that...) and most importantly schooling. When it came to her primary education, she was enrolled in the most prestigious school her parent's could afford. She made plenty of friends and excelled in almost all subject, particularly in English and Music.

Unlike most children her age, Lisa considered her education as her entire life. When she was not attending school, she was at home studying or otherwise locked in her room writing or reading. She only left her room in order to practice on the piano for her music class. Her parents quickly had her join up with the scouts in an attempt to get her to do something else, which she took to quite quickly when she started thinking of it as something to further her education. It at least got her out of the house once in a while. For her, life was good...

But of course it was too good to last, as eventually her father was required to move in order to satisfy his new workplace. Instead of leaving him to put up with a hard commute every day, the family was required to up sticks and move town just as Lisa was moving into high school. The cost of the move and their new home required them to make sacrifices in some places, most importantly in their daughter's education. Despite Bayview Secondary School being well-respected, the very fact it was a public school disgusted Lisa. At this point she had quite an ego on her, so having to fraternize with people her age who she considered inferior was particularly disheartening for her.

Her egotism, her weight problem and her rather strange accent (half-American, half-Scottish due to her upbringing) made her particularly unpopular with most other students and a frequent target of mockery and scorn. Despite her good grades, even some of the faculty grew to dislike her due to her holier-than-thou attitude towards their teachings. The few friends she did have were often mistreated by her, treated almost like lackeys and sycophants who were there only to give her some back-up against those who insulted her. Eventually they too would leave her after the abuse became too much, soon to be replaced by other weak-willed students who thought some of Lisa's brilliance would rub off on them if they hung around with her enough, and on the cycle would go.

Lisa is someone with very little patience or tolerance, being quick to anger if things are not done exactly the way she wants them to be. She relishes being in positions of power, having attempted to become the head of many of the clubs at school, but since she looks down on most of the other students she rarely makes a good leader. Comments passed about her weight particularly infuriate her; such insults are essentially her berserk button and despite her prissiness, she's more than capable of lashing out with violence if people take it too far. The only thing she hates more than her "inferior" classmates is when one of them manages to best her at something, be it in grades or in appearance (which tends to happen often), at which point she will find it difficult to contain her jealousy and contempt for them. Underneath all her elitism and pent-up rage however, there is a genuinely decent, friendly person... Unfortunately this side of her just refuses to come out during school hours.

Advantages: With her education and despite her rather unsavoury nature, Lisa is no idiot; she knows when to fight and when to run and won't take needless risks if she can avoid it. She also used to be in the scouts as a child, so she at least has a basic knowledge of how to survive in the wild. Organization and planning are her main forte.
Disadvantages: Lisa tends to insist on being a leader whenever she is in a group, despite her having little compassion for any of her team-mates. Her egotism makes her a very hard person to put up with, so she is bound to make quite a few enemies (along with the enemies she may already have). She is easy to annoy and will sometimes lash out without thinking if she is angered sufficiently. Her weight also makes her slow and easy to tire.
