Appearance: The thing most people notice when they first look at Kathy is the straight, dyed black hair that covers most of her face, and reaches partway down her back. On the odd occasion that she pulls it away, Her face is thin, and her eyes are wide, green and piercing, and often ringed in dark mascara. Her nose is pierced, and slightly crooked from being broken in a fight a year ago, and her mouth is small, with a piercing in her bottom lip, her skin is very pale, owing to her spending most of her time indoors, or wearing heavy clothing that covers her almost completely.

Physically, She's tall for a girl, around 6', and very thin, though this is from lack of eating rather than exercise or her natural figure. She has several tattoos on her arms, and a large one of her name on her upper back. She usually dresses in baggy clothing, even in summer (which has led to her pale skin colour), usually faded jeans, band T-shirts and hoodies a couple of sizes too big.

Biography: Kathy Goldman was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Gina Goldman and Brian Kikta, both musicians, although Brian was a heavy alcoholic, and died of liver failure when Kathy was 8. From a young age, Kathy showed interest in musical pursuits, attempting to learn a number of musical instruments, but ultimately failing at most, if not all of them, It became evident that she had not inherited her parent's musical talents.

Even before her father's death, Kathy was a bit of a social outcast. She was very shy, mostly kept to herself, and had very few friends. However, she had a fairly good relationship with her parents, despite their constant absenses and her father's frequent drunkeness.

After Brian's death, however, Gina was heartbroken and turned to drugs and alcohol in an attempt to relieve the pain. Kathy became distant from her, and over time this gradually extended to her distancing herself from the whole world (even though she never really had many friends anyway). Spending most of her time at the back of the class at school, and rarely leaving her room when at home, Kathy became a recluse in almost every sense of the word. After several failed attempts to get Kathy to open up, Gina eventually gave up, and allowed Kathy to do whatever she wanted. It was during this time period Kathy began compulsively reading every book in their house (of which there was a large collection) and seeing how fast she could read them. This is a habit that she still currently has.

In the past two years or so, Kathy has been getting various tatoos all over her upper body, and stealing small amounts of alcohol from her Mother. which has led to her getting a reputation around school for arriving hungover on occassion, and a change in Kathy's personality to the few who talked to her. This ended in her getting suspended after a fight with another girl, which ended in Kathy getting a broken nose and the other girl getting severe concussion. Kathy has only recently returned to school, and is fairly infamous for the whole incident.

Advantages: Kathy's used to barely eating, so malnutrition wouldn't be an issue. She barely knows most of her classmates, so killing them probably wouldn't be an issue if she chose to play. She knows a moderate amount about first aid from some of the books she reads.

Disadvantages: Physically, Kathy isn't in very good shape, and running or just basiclly traversing the island could be a problem for her. She has little experience in hand to hand combat, and can't stand the sight of blood.
