Hobbies and Interests: Finn is an avid reader and as such has a great love for literature. He's also interested in drama and has acted in several of the school productions. He enjoys ice skating and other winter sports, and is a big fan of going for nature hikes out in the woods.

Appearance: Finn is 5'10 and 135 lbs. Finn has a pretty slim build thanks in part to a quick metabolism. His eyes are a clear green that have a melancholy look to them, people often comment on his sad eyes. He has fairly soft features, and isn't particularly striking to look at. His face would be called pleasant before handsome or ugly. He has wavy, sandy brown hair of a medium length, which he makes sure to keep trim enough to stay out of his eyes. He is always clean shaven.

Finn dresses in a casual, preppy style. He is usually clad in green, brown, white or blue, and he dresses comfortably. In the summer time he is known to stick with a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt and in the wintertime he is usually in cords with a hooded sweater. Finn is known to throw on a toque during the winter.


Biography: Finn's mother was Canadian and his father was Irish, which explains his name, and he spent much of his young life living in both Halifax and Dublin as an only child. His mother taught violin and his father worked as an elementary school teacher. The two of them are very liberal, and he grew up with their views in his head. He was good at making friends but often had to make new ones when he would switch schools. He took up reading as a way to pass the time on trips between the places or before he had made friends. He was a smart kid and was usually near the top of his class.

Around the time he started middle school his parents decided that they had to decide on a place to live. Minnesota seemed an unlikely choice, but it was close to Canada, had plenty of pubs and job opportunities for both of his parents and so there they went.

Finn and his family applied for residency in the US while retaining their Canadian and EU citizenship and settled into their new home. He liked the climate of it, and there were woods to explore and outdoor ice skating rinks to sharpen his craft. He continued his reading and also became interested in theatre and knowing that Bayview had a good theatre department he jumped right in and quickly started making friends. His accent and sharp wit both attracted people, and repelled them. Some people thought he was too much of a smart ass and didn't fit in with the people around here, while others found him interesting.

Finn does very well with school, and has received an early acceptance to several Universities in both Canada and Ireland, such as McGill and the University of Dublin and plans to leave the United States after he graduates. His strongest subjects are English, History, Drama and Languages, while he is weaker in Math and things like Woodworking.

Finn has become active in Conservation causes, and attends rallies and the like preventing the destruction of the environment. He's a member of the drama department and of the reading club and ice skates and does a variety of other winter sports in his spare time.

Over his life Finn has held onto several friends despite his moving. He had a girlfriend named Lilly who still lives in Vancouver and the two talk to each other on the phone and over the internet on a regular basis, they aren't quite sure where their relationship stands anymore, they have been talking about going to post-secondary education together. Moving around so often Finn quickly learned the best ways to make friends, and has become something of an expert at winning people to his side if he wants too. Factoring that in with his vast knowledge of literature he's learned the right buttons to push and get often get people to do what he wants.

Finn has a trouble free record and didn't often get in trouble with authority figures. He does tend to daydream though, which has been a source of trouble. Lilly would often notice when he was talking to her that he'd start staring up at a cloud or at a tree and would get frustrated. He has always been very emotive and lets people know how he feels, and applies sarcasm when he doesn't think the person deserves a genuine response, probably in part to his parents raising him to be expressive about how he feels.

Finn had an incident in his childhood where he fell into a pit while out for a walk, and since then has had a fear of going underground, as well as small dark places.

Advantages: Finn is well-read and quite intelligent. He's also good at figuring people out, and manipulating them. Quick witted and can be quite charming when he needs to be.
Disadvantages: Finn is easily distracted and can occasionally miss the big picture. He's a bit emotional and can hold a grudge if someone rubs him the wrong way, which messes with his rationality. He is also prone to underestimating people, and isn't a particularly strong physical presence.
