Appearance: Przemyslaw Ziemiak barely avoids being underweight with him standing at 5’3” and weighing 114 pounds, thus appearing scrawny and lanky. He has a pale round face with a slightly upturned nose, brown eyes, thin lips and a chin strap beard that goes up pointed around his mouth angle. Przemek wears a septum ring. He used to wear gauges, but has stopped wearing them; this can still be seen in the holes in his ears.

His natural hair colour is black, but he has been seen with several hair colours throughout the years, usually cut to an undercut. He is always seen with a warm expression on his face. On the day of the abduction his hair was coloured in a mix of blond and red and he wore a black parka over a red hoodie with dark-blue jeans and white sneakers. He also wears a cross around his neck.

Biography: Przemyslaw was born to Maria Ziemiak, a literature professor, and her boyfriend George Sleeper, an elementary school teacher, in Salem, MA. They were fairly well-off. Przemek had a good childhood, and was raised in a Polish Catholic household. Early on, Przemek was already a pretty social kid, which could be seen in elementary, where he made friends quickly.

In middle school, he began developing an interest in hip-hop when he heard rappers like Eminem on the radio. What he liked about rap was the focus on the lyrics and that it was totally different from what his parents were listening (rock). This lead him to watch videos of freestyle rappers and through the YouTube recommended algorithm, he got recommended beatbox videos and tutorials. He was immediately fascinated by it and tried it himself. He picked up beatboxing as a hobby because of that and exercises it regularly. He tried rapping, too, but wasn't very confident in it so he stopped doing that pretty quickly.

Due to being a social guy, he loved attending parties in high school. At these parties he would also love to converse with people, but also dance or beatbox to impress others. In 10th grade he also began consuming drugs at parties, house parties specifically. He began drinking alcohol or smoking weed, but in 11th grade, he also began consuming chemical drugs like speed and ecstasy to be able to party longer. To obtain these drugs from his dealers, he began stealing money from his parents in the sums of hundreds of dollars, not giving money back from classmates he borrowed it from, and pickpocketing.

After one night of partying too hard, he puked in the Uber on the way home. His parents had been informed and had to pay the cleaning costs for the car. They were shocked as this was the incident where they found out about his drug use and upon research and questioning themselves how he could finance this, they discovered that he had been stealing from them to finance the drugs. This lead to a worsening relationship between parents and child; it also lead to consequences for Przemyslaw. They punished him by cutting off all money and confiscating all electronics.

Feeling exposed to his secretive behavior and feeling bad for his parents and for himself, this shame lead to a change in him. He cut contacts with his old friends and began to read books instead, specifically the Bible or self-help books to overcome addiction bought by either himself or his parents. At first, he was resistant and wasn't even acknowledging his addiction, blaming his parents, but three months in, he realised what harms his consumptions has done. Since then, he had been eager to work on overcoming his addiction. As of the current day he has been clean from hard drugs for fifteen months and clean from weed for five months. His relationship with his parents was very bad several months after them finding out, and they lost the trust in him, but after seeing that he tried to better himself, they appreciated that, though still distrustful of him.

Being raised Catholic, he went regularly to Church on Sundays. While he stopped attending it during the years in which he went to parties on Saturday, he motivated himself to visit it regularly again. Przemylaw is Christian, but had a phase of doubt in his teenage years, but really began becoming faithful to the Bible after getting clean. He sees himself having falling into addiction as a sin and was shocked about how he had behaved during those years, and he questioned his behavior that had been selfish, especially when it came to him treating other people when he had the desire to consume. He believes in God and appreciates the Church for guiding him and structuring his life and giving his life purpose. He sees the Bible as a book of wisdom that would help him live a good life.

In search of a new hobby to replace him attending parties, he joined the worship and prayer club. Listening to straight edge bands like Rise Against helped him stay clean, so he began listening to punk and rock music in that vein as well as grunge, as it musically interested him. He has a love for Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder's solo career.

He still loves listening to hip-hop, especially songs that are on the charts. He specifically likes the like of NF or Kanye West, as their music based on faith speaks to him. But he's also a fan of rappers like Kendrick Lamar for his deepness.

Przemek is average in class. His favorite subjects have been PE and theology. He improved in class after going to therapy, going from a D in maths to a B. Outside of class, he is well-liked and goes along with a lot of people, especially if they are Christian like him. He likes to impress his classmates by talking about himself, or to tell jokes or to give them advise on problems. He also isn't ashamed to beatbox in front of strangers. However, he was known to be less friendly and more selfish in the past, so he doesn't have the best reputation. He used to be a lot more bragging and egotistical but tries his best to be more empathetical and think of others first.

Przemek regrets his past and hates himself for having done it. He also looks down upon classmates who still consume and tries to stay away from those and socialise with his fellow Christians.

He also picked up exploring the nature of Salem in his free time to stay healthy. His parents are still suspicious of him secretly consuming while he was wandering, and initially forbid him to leave the house, but after they walked a couple of times with him, they trusted him enough that he really wasn't up to no good. He really enjoys nature and likes the time for himself in the walks as a balance to him being surrounded by people more often than not.

In the future Przemek wants to get a job in the medical field, as he thinks that this is a job that helps other people.

Advantages: Przemek is a people's person and is charismatic. Due to exploring nature in his free time he might have an advantage in the wild. He also has a good stamina due to the walks.
Disadvantages: Przemek wants to impress others, which is why he is probably easy to manipulate. He also has a bad reputation from some people because of not having given money back to them and might have been seen as an unreliable person in his drug years. His faith also might hinder him from killing a person which would be required to get off the island.

So the first and one of the largest things is his age. We'll get to his age and what that means for school a bit further down.

- I think this might be a language thing but is this meant to be gauges? Earplugs are more often the things that go in the ears to muffle noise.

- Does Przemyslaw make any hip hop-music of his own or does he just enjoy the music (beatboxing aside)? What does he like about hip-hop and rap?

- Amphetamines and MDMA (which I believe is the same as ecstasy which is spelled XTC here) are kind of harder drugs. Where was he getting these drugs? How much was he stealing from his parents?

Przemek had been sent to therapy by his parents, unbeknownst to his classmates and had to skip a school year.

- OK, so in his age it says that he is 20 and I'm assuming he is in high school so old due to being held back. Though if he was held back one year, I think he would be 19, right? If he is in 11th grade and he goes to rehab in the middle of 11th grade, he'd likely just be told to finish out via taking the GED, working out a way to send remaining assignments to him, or a recovery school that specializes in kids attending rehab since he would be nearly done with school (only a few months left, if I'm reading this right). He wouldn't go back to finish an entire year and it wouldn't be at JEM.

- If he is no longer partying or doing drugs, I'm not sure of those would still sound as hobbies.

- I'm curious to know more about how he feels about his faith as well as his personality now, generally. Especially since he is described as a people person and charismatic.

- Advantages and disadvantages are a little sparse. Maybe his faith is a help or a hinder to him? Nature walks sound like a lot of walking, which could be good stamina for walking.

OK, I think that's it. I think the main thing we have to iron out first is the age and his drug use and subsequent treatment. Right now, I don't think he'd be headed back to JEM with his current situation. I think maybe a milder situation would allow for the angle you have in mind with returning to religion as a way of atonement while making it less drastic so that he can't return to JEM.
