Before that, a few reminders about rolls etiquette: if you are rolled, you may post in this thread ONCE to ask for a hero if you want one. Do not repeatedly beg, ask in chat, or seek people out in private to ask that they hero you or someone else who has been rolled. You may ask for kill offers more than once. If you are not rolled, remember to be courteous to those who are. Do not gloat about not being hit or celebrate someone else being hit. Do not send people pitches about killing their character if they have not asked. Do not say in the public chat that you're available to do kills.
Now is a great time to re-familiarize yourself with the updated death deadline rules. You have THREE days (72 hours) from this announcement going up to play hero or swap cards to save a rolled character. Characters slotted to die at the end of that 72 hour period have an additional NINE days to die before they and their killer become ineligible for the Best Kill and Best Death Awards for this rolls cycle. Any characters who have not died by the BKA/BDA deadline of the next rolls cycle will be taken over by SOTF_Help in order to complete their deaths. With the new extended deadlines in place, requests for additional extensions will NOT be granted. If you have any additional questions about the updated deadline system, please ask the staff.
As one final note, we have decided to expand the thread count of certain areas in order to facilitate people moving into new threads to make deaths happen. As of this announcement, the Upper Mountain Pass, Lower Mountain Pass, and Old Road subforums now have an additional thread slot available, for a total of two active threads allowed in each area (excluding oneshots).
