I'll try another critique-y thing in time for the new year, one I've wanted to play around with for a while now. Death threads are the de facto highlight of the SOTF experience in many ways- whether writing as the killer, the killed, or the useless or not so useless bystander to the affair. Blah blah character arc conclusions, shocking plot swerves, deep emotional moments, I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain this to anybody? We'll skip the basic AF collage essay tier introductory paragraph content.

So yeah, death threads. My hope is to be able to analyze holistically- the entire thread, all people involved, how the synergy between writers worked out, which I believe is just as crucial in context as is the individual quality of individual posts. So the one unique rule I have in mind for this is that a thread offered for critiquing must have all thread participants' permissions. Everyone in the thread is, in my way of reading and evaluating scenes, equally important and as such I'd like to be able to critically evaluate said everyone in the thread w/o stepping on toes. So make sure everyone in the thread posts permissions here, or screencap discord chats with permissions, or whatever.

I'm aiming to achieve about the same level of depth in analysis as I did in that one V7 live reading critique I tried for a while, if not even more depth and ankle-biting degrees of unnecessary nitpicking. We'll limit slots to two, and if I can get through that many by January's end that'll hopefully portend that I can do a couple more solid quality death thread critiques before V7 is up and over with.
