The Triple 777 Girlbosses Relationship Planning Thread
While there is some edgy nihilist boi who has his own relationship thread, I am here to unleash in the theme of high rollers of the triple 7 with 3 certain female characters, each standing out with their own merits.
Exhibit A - Emma Drakenberg-West
AKA... A character made to be a Toxie character, so I ask for his pure blessing for Emma.
Theme Song: - Deer Dance by System of a Down
Alternative Theme: - Police Truck by Dead Kennedys
Hobbies and Interests: Playing electric guitar, singing, listening and playing metal and punk music, recreational alcohol and drug use, motorcycles (riding and mechanics).
About: Of Swedish nationality, whose parents were killed in a car accident while still in the maternity ward. Unfortunately, the only relatives available to care for her in the USA was her dishonorably discharged ex-military uncle, who raised her in a trailer park in Iowa. A part of a verbally abusive drunk "black sheep" uncle in a trailer park, who would later bring along a VERY vicious and abusive girlfriend to live with Emma would lead to her seeking refuge and friendship with an ex-punk rockstar with heavy questionable anti-capitalist views. When the rockstar died from a stroke, a major fight with her uncle and his girlfriend would lead to Emma becoming a runaway with the help of the other trailer park residents, who gave her enough money until she would end up with social services, who gave guardianship to two male husbands, one of which is a science teacher to Red Rock.
She is the leader of her own band called "Finest in Niflhel", which plays punk and metal music. Avenged Sevenfold? System of a Down? Blind Guardian? Metallica? Rammstein? Dead Kennedys? Sex Pistols? Bad Brains? Get your asses over here and listen to her and her crew, or you're getting your teeth knocked out!
She plays a mean electric guitar and has the voice of a death growl for her singing. She also drives around in her own hog motorcycle, which she also knows mechanics for, due to working a part-time job at a garage. She is forced to wear some Elvis Costello glasses for her eyesight during driving that do look her look dorky, but she makes up for it with facial piercings and a battle jacket. She also has her vices developed from her uncle, engaging in alcohol and drugs to fill her up in the dysfunctional rockstar lifestyle.
Word to the wise. Don't mention Green Day. She will go completely feral.
Relationship Types:
Neutral: Emma is the type who is easily angered. Most reasonable people will avoid her or try not to upset her, which mostly works. She tries to stay on her best behavior in the classroom, since one of her dads is a school teacher, but that doesn't matter when she's out of school or with others, which is when she usually gets rowdy.
Friends: Some people can handle her. Some like her tastes in music than the usual pop punk shit. Some sympathize with her for her past. Her crew roll along and are involved in similar antics to that of Emma's.
Enemies: Emma is a violent character and if you get on her bad side, you're in for a world of hurt.
Band Members: The Finest in Niflhel requires band members! Emma can do singing and the electric guitar, but she needs other band members to fill the roles that are empty.
Love Interest: Emma is bisexual, so she can get herself a boyfriend or a girlfriend! Who is daring enough to date her?

Theme Song: - Speed Drive by Charli XCX
Alternative Theme: - Tenderness by General Public
Hobbies and Interests: Fashion, debate, yoga, social media, partying, drinking, makeup
About: You know how Mean Girls tried to deconstruct the whole "mean girl/queen bee/alpha bitch" role, only for Gossip Girl to appear, along with a bunch of YA novels with alpha bitch protagonists?
Meet Joanne Martinez. She is a Mexican-Cuban-American daughter of a father, who is a casino floor manager, and a mother who works in an architectural firm.
She will show off her expensive clothes. She will be drinking kale smoothies. She will run for class president and bribe her way to victory. She is a heavy drinker and has access to expensive alcohol from the right sources, where she is a major party animal, even using her parents' money to host parties of her own at the casino where her father works.
She is however, aware that she is not taken seriously from some of the more infamous students and is viewed as a joke. This is due to the fact that she views being the queen bee as the most important role in the school, not realizing that popularity comes with a price, ignoring the whole moral of being yourself. Even with being "popular" and with the popular rich kids that everyone admires, she is still unable to find true happiness, which makes her secretly loathe everyone.
The life of a girlboss, gaslight, and gatekeep isn't a fairytale.
Relationship Types:
Neutral: She's rich and popular, so she will stick out. Only a few might see past her, however.
Friends: Get yourself some fellow spoiled popular rich trust fund kids to hang out with! Join Joanne's hive mind!
Enemies: There are too many delinquents in this school and Joanne will be looking down at them.
Boyfriend: Joanne will get a boyfriend, whenever you like it or not. She will make you pay the bill like a gentlemen. She will make you get her the right type of latte with the prettiest foam art. She will want gifts for materialism.
Friends:
Sylvie Rattray - Joanne is truly a bad influence...
Clarissa Shoemaker - Joanne lets her get drunk...
Neutral:
Mercedes “Mercy” Myers-Colman - Mercy's advice from Joanne is this. Know to party good and hard or go to the curb.
Murray Miller - Murray has a leash around his neck with Joanne pulling his strings to have him show her power.
Manuel "Mañana" Hernández - She knows he has something for her, but she keeps him close, in case.
Wade Colter - To Wade, being rich and beautiful isn't new to him.
Felicity "Flick" Franklin - "You need better stores to shop at, girl."
Frenemies:
Camilla “Candy” Carter - Joanne and Candy might hate each other, but the spoiled rich needs their friends and enemies close to one another.
Dislikes:
Grace Willis - An innocent bystander who is mistaken as a boyfriend-stealing Jezebel by a boyfriend-stealing Jezebel.
Marcia "Marcy" Valerio - "We used to be good friends. Then, she started hanging out with that punk. I wish things with her last boyfriend didn't end that bad..."
Skyla Monroe - The debate club isn't clean, when you see another seemingly perfect girl who is supposed to be better than you.
Claude O'Neil Porter - To her, he's another dumb jock and a pushover.
Lily Kemp - "Go back to your anarchist girlfriend and that stupid poly of yours."
Taylor Olson-Chen - Unfortunately, Joanne is straight. That didn't stop Taylor from trying and failing.
Travis (Ahab) - "It's Joanne, dumbass!"
Ezra Chadwick - Someone who knows that Joanne isn't genuine.
Mohammed “Mo” Shadid - "The Johnny Bravo act isn't going to get you a girl."
Hayden Prescott - Both from the same team, to which Joanne wants him off.

Maggie Wilfred - "Oh, so the bitch with the rich Ronald Reagan parents wants to help me? Get in line, you dumbass child!"
Keiko Thompson - "You will NEVER be in my league! You don't care with your style or how much money you have. Your tunes don't cut it!"
Edwin Castellaneta - Not even a boyfriend-stealing jezebel would want him. He's too radioactive in her experience.
Mona Marroquín - "This bitch... After all she did, people online still think that she's their precious dream girl. I'm not fucking stupid! You will fail! I'll make sure of it!"
Boyfriend:
Johnny Benowitz - A possible love interest. Joanne thinks he's a cash cow, though it's good to have a jock to date.
Thoughts on characters by the same handler?
Mortimer Schaub - "I don't know what he's trying to go for. He's either an idiot who thinks he's a genius, or he's a genius who presents himself as an idiot."
Emma Drakenberg-West - "Seethe more. You wouldn't lay a finger on me."
Vanessa Thibodeaux - "She doesn't intimidate me. She's lucky that she doesn't go onto my turf, even with her rich plantation family."
Exhibit C - Vanessa Thibodeaux
Theme Song: - Stand the Pain by And One
Alternative Theme: - After Me, the Flood by Bear Ghost
Hobbies and Interests: Working for the butcher shop, theatre, watching sports, working out, reading, photography.
About: Vanessa Thibodeaux is a major oddity and probably one of mystery.
At school, one can't deny seeing a 6'8 tall woman with a body mass of 230 lbs. (Which is going to change eventually from moderator's input, when going through the profile wringer, but you get the idea). How the fuck did a tall muscular woman end up in Red Rock? Does she do sports?
Surprisingly no. She's a theatre kid.
Vanessa Thibodeaux is actually from Louisiana in the south, raised in a Cajun family who has been around for generations with their own plantation, where they operate and run a slaughterhouse and pig farm since the 1920's. The Thibodeaux family can best be described as a "problematic" bunch. During the very olden days of the family, they used slave labor in their plantation. Something that they are trying to avoid hearing or having mentioned in future and current generations. There is also the fact that some of the older members of the family are completely out of touch with everyone else, despite having a natural old money wealth, coming across as stereotypical WASPs. The Thibodeaux family are also in property possession, along with a contract from a hotel in Las Vegas to introduce a Thibodeaux business known as the "Blue Ribbon Butchery and Eatery", which sells cuts of meat and operates as a deli.
Vanessa, who is already undergoing questionable puberty changes, growth spurts, and a heavy imbalance of estrogen, would be taught the ropes of the family business by butchering and trimming meat. Being a butcher is one thing, but to deal with family matters, the family has Vanessa sent to live with her relatives at Las Vegas, so she can work at the butcher shop, beginning enrollment as a freshman in Red Rock.
While she does work out, she is more interested in other hobbies. Vanessa lacks any interest in sports, which is good for her family and even the school, because they were afraid that due to her body shape, she might accidently kill someone while playing.
She is a theatre kid, who is also struggling to find suitable roles, given her muscles and height.
She is a lesbian, which is frowned upon in the family, since they want an in-law to foster another child with Thibodeaux blood. Despite this, Vanessa shows affection for her love, though there is concerns that her health from said estrogen imbalance could possibly make her infertile.
Relationship Types:
Neutral: Everyone knows her for being the tall muscular Cajun butcher lady, but the drama department might have a thing or two for her.
Friends: Vanessa actually has a motherly attitude towards certain students, which helps in her befriending some students who "literally" look up to her.
Enemies: I wouldn't recommend making an enemy out of Vanessa, because if you manage to really piss her off, then it's your closed-casket funeral, buddy.
Girlfriend: Vanessa wants a girlfriend who she will respect and care for. A butcher loves meat, but Vanessa strives for true love. She is very protective for her girlfriend.
Friends:
Mercedes “Mercy” Myers-Colman - Theatre buddies!
Koa Tagaloa - Also theatre buddies! YAY!
Maggie Wilfred - "People ain't always perfect, 'cause their folks are supermodels or billionaires. Cher Maggie just needs somebody who ain't like my kook-up family."
Claude O'Neil Porter - Gentle giants in harmony.
Taylor Olson-Chen - Theatre buddies and someone who flirts goes over Vanessa's head.
Raya Loux - Workout buddies!!!
Felicity "Flick" Franklin - A butcher can be encouraging to a chef.
Taylor Turner - A fellow gay can understand another.
Neutral:
Keiko Thompson - Literature in the library has them reading in the same spot.
Murray Miller - Murray always want someone like Vanessa on the team, but she doesn't want to kill someone by accident.
Lily Kemp - A nice workout buddy, but Vanessa wants to avoid her violence.
Travis (Ahab) - Remarkably to him, Vanessa's blood pressure is alright.
Wade Colter - Yes, Wade. She's tall.
Zachariah "Zach" Webb - "Cannibalism, what?"
Dislikes:
Heather Klein - Vanessa is surprisingly calm towards a vegan, despite the fact she knows the latter wants to blow her brains out.
Ash Green - Vegetarians seem to have a hatred for Vanessa for some unearthly reason...
Camilla “Candy” Carter - It's bad enough to have an ex-girlfriend, but it still bad enough to still be forced to work alongside her in theatre.
Nearly An Enemy:
Edwin Castellaneta - He has done nothing to her, but if their paths cross and he pulls something, Edwin is going to die a horrible death.
Enemies:
N/A - Be glad that you're not an enemy...
Girlfriend:
Ezra Chadwick - "Ma chère... Don't want her to be fragile, but I can pour all the love I got to keep her from breakin'."
Thoughts on characters by the same handler?
Mortimer Schaub - "That Mortimer kid, he's uh... a peculiar young man. He got some kinda thing 'gainst them preps, but I heard he ain't too fond of them delinquents and punks neither, 'cause some of 'em been givin' him a hard time. I reckon he's tryin' to carve out his own niche to stand out on his own terms, you know, tryin' to fit in with the crowd. Don't think he's tryin' to be no mean fella, 'cause there's them folks who ain't afraid to be pushy and rude."
Emma Drakenberg-West - "I ain't much of a heavy metal kinda person, and I reckon Emma's tryin' to express herself through her music. She's one mighty angry girl with the cards life done dealt her, from what I heard. I wish I could try to get to know her better, but one of her bandmates is a vegan who flat out despises me and everyone I stand for. Reckon she doesn't take kindly to upper class folks like me, even if I can grant hospitality."
Joanne Martinez - "Joanne, she gets everything handed to her on a silver platter, mais, for her, that just ain't cuttin' it. She struts around like she owns the place, but deep down, she knows she ain't got nothin' on me. Scared I might get my hands on her, if things don't go neither our way."

Hello! It is I! Me!
Emma!
Definitely Heather's kind of person. Very weird situation where Heather might be the more reasonable, stable one of the two, possibly an actual positive influence if they were to date or even just be friends. That said, whilst her anti-capitalist credentials are in order, Heather's still picky about other stuff and chances are slim they'd get further than benefits whilst sharing other vices. She might be able to offer some reasonably slick recording production though, and/or some features on FiN tracks.
Mercy thinks of her as a rival / her band as a rival band. I doubt it's mutual. But since Mercy's liable to play Green Day tracks there's surely some animosity.
LK thinks she's hot. But also a hot mess. Don't know if she cares about the opinion of a gamer dork.
Not really much to say with Hope or Artemis beyond the expected negative opinion of a normie.
Joanne!
Mercy's kind of person fr. Booze and parties (and hopefully admiration). Enjoy your newest hanger-on.
Heather despises her, of course.
Possible she knows Grace because she seems like the sort of girl who's either dating a quarterback or aspires to do so, I don't imagine they have high opinions of each other though?
Vanessa!
Holy shit Heather hates her so, so much. Unbelievably much.
Mercy has theatre in common, and welcomes the challenge of doing her wardrobe.

Despite being an extremist vegan, Emma is alright with tolerating Heather, even though Emma herself isn't a vegan. She does see her as an acquaintance, since she would like Heather to help her publish her band's music online, with her recording production skills.Dr Adjective wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 12:17 pm Hello! Mercy is someone who Emma looks down on, since she mocks her more mainstream pop-punk tastes than trying to go hardcore. FiN vs Mercy's band are both rivals for sure.
Emma doesn't mind that LK finds her hot, but she doesn't see the gamer dork as her type.
Hope and Artemis are also in the neutral category with Grace, but Emma will find Hope to be weird with her transhumanism beliefs.
--
Joanne finds Mercy to not suit her expectations, but the only way that Mercy could possibly get her good side is knowing how to party good. If not, Mercy is going to get used like a wet towel and tossed to the curb.
Joanne would try to push away Grace, because she's trying to get the jocks thirsting over her in a cheerleader uniform, so Joanne wants Grace to back off!
Joanne, of course, also despises Heather, finding her to be a nuisance and a threat to her in-school politics.
---
A butcher and a vegan. Heather and Vanessa are not two that blind together, despite how calm Vanessa tries to be towards her.
Vanessa would like to know what costume Mercy has in mind for her in the drama department.

For Emma:
- Finn might work at the same garage. He’s more into cars than motorcycles, though. He also likes punk music and loud stuff.
For Joanne:
- Either Candy and Joanne get along, OR they’re rivals. Or both. Candy’s also not, like… FULL delinquent but open to hanging out with them, and the somewhat insane confidence to not really care if she's judged for it, so she’s in the friends and enemies column.
For Vanessa:
- Light association with Candy due to shared theatre activities. Candy's also a raging lesbian but she's also a very non-commital girl prone to shattering hearts, so not a good match there.

Yeah, Finn and Emma would totally get along. They work at the same garage and the two might ride together on a barren desert road like kings and queens of the road.
For Joanne,
Oh yes, those two would be friends. Frenemies, possibly, but I see a friendship between Joanne and Candy for being spoiled rich with the former envying Candy's taste in fashion.
For Vanessa,
Oh..... boy. Raging lesbian, yes. Shattering hearts? How about this? It happened once or twice and it sure as hell happened to Vanessa. Vanessa is an ex-girlfriend in the drama department, which is Candy's ally. Vanessa is trying to move on, but there is still some tension with her and Candy.
Hello there.
Marcy on Emma: Can potentially see her being amongst the crowd Marcy's found herself hanging with after she started dating Finn, granted she's also friends with one of Emma's biggest rivals.
Marcy on Joanne: She and Marcy will almost certainly bump into each other at a fair few parties, where they appear amenable on the surface but probably despise each other, ESPECIALLY after Marcy started hanging out with Finn.
Koa on Vanessa: He probably gets on surprisingly well with her? If anything because he feels less sensitive about his own height around her (he's going to be around 6'4), and would maybe try to help her out in drama class?

Emma finds her to be an outsider, since the rockstar is part of the deliquent crowd and sees her as being just another obstacle when dealing with her biggest rival, Mercy.
Joanne on the other side, did respect Marcy once, since both of them are part of the party scene. However, after the death of Marcy's previous boyfriend, Joanne views Finn as being not Marcy's type, which leads to some dislike, since Marcy is drifting towards the other crowd.
Koa:
Vanessa definitely respects Koa and even though she's taller than him, they get along well in the drama class and even considers him to be a friend.

Will likely drop by this thread again once I've settled on my other two. Same goes for all the other pregame planning threads I've been bombarding this evening.
Jonas is a big supporter of Emma's work, and would definitely attend all the shows he has time for. Whether that's bounds for a friendship or something more is up to you.

Emma Drakenburg-West
Keiko isn't fond of heavy metal, so she'd be looking at Emma funny. Her usage of alcohol and drugs is also a massive turnoff for Keiko. The only reason Keiko and Emma wouldn't be outright rivals is because Keiko doesn't have it in her to tell her off.
Edwin probably tried to get Emma arrested once for being too long. That ended with him being punched in the face.
Murray is easily impressed by most things, so while he wouldn't fully understand heavy metal, he'd love to hear more of it. He miiiiiight have accidentally mentioned Green Day to her at one point and that flew her over the rails.
Skyla is fully sympathetic to Emma and her past and while she's not a big fan of heavy metal music, she does respect her for finding a way to express herself. Skyla would probably also ask if she could borrow some alcohol to help with her own issues.
Maggie just avoids Emma. She's heard about her lifestyle and she's not comfortable with it.
Joanne Martinez
Murray truly believes Joanne is popular and will happily help spread the word if needed, he's that gullible, which makes him perfect for the hive mind! Has definitely attended her parties before.
Skyla has wanted to try and spark a friendship with Joanne, but is reluctant to do so, fearing that Joanne wouldn't like her given her reputation.
Edwin tried flirting with Joanne once, she told him to drop dead.
Maggie and Keiko just feel sorry for her. On Maggie's end, she feels that Joanne doesn't know who she truly is and needs to find herself fully. Maggie is willing to help her out in that regard. Keiko meanwhile sees Joanne as a girl who needs a friend to truly find happiness. Keiko is also willing to help her out with that, provided she hasn't shut herself out of this belief. Whichever is better suited for Joanne, I'll leave up to you.
Vanessa Thibodeaux
Murray sees Vanessa and is actively trying to get her to join the football team. In his mind, a 6'8 person on defense would wreck anyone who dares cross their path. She's constantly rejected his advances, but he hasn't given up yet. Might be pretty good otherwise, given they're both Southern-born.
I have a headcanon that tells me that Maggie and Vannessa's parents have met up before, given their backgrounds. They're also probably good friends, with Maggie constantly going to her for advice. May have potential for a relationship down the line, but we'll see.
Likewise with Skyla and Vanessa, except without the relationship aspect. Skyla might have reservations with her family's past, but not with Vanessa as a person.
Keiko and Vanessa I don't think interact much, but if they did, it might have been in the library reading books.
Edwin isn't going to chance it.

Sorry, I'm late, lads. I was trying to work through things, but I'm ready to give some responses.
Maggie - Since Maggie avoids Emma (Good for her), Vanessa is actually someone to be good friends with her. Both of them have parents who get along with each other, probably because both Maggie and Vanessa's parents are politically and socially out of touch with everyone else. Vanessa does seem to be the only one of my 4 chars, who is aware that Maggie does have issues with social skills and sympathizes with her deeply and is good friends with her.
Keiko - Keiko and Vanessa do see each other at the library as they are taking a chill pill with reading books. For Emma, she views Keiko as being an annoying pushover, but due to the latter being too meek, Emma doesn't directly confront or scare her off.
Maggie and Keiko's relationship with Joanne - BOY... While both Maggie and Keiko do think that there is some way of saving Joanne's soul, the latter actually despises them and criticizes them for trying to give her pity, trying to reason that her wealth and looks are what gets her far than her actual personality.
Murray - ...He's a little confused, but he got the spirit. Vanessa will think that Murray is being completely out of touch by trying to get her to be in the football team, despite having to remind him that she doesn't want to accidently kill someone by accident. Emma is one of those people that got off on a rocky start, but does warm up to him seeing that he wants to know more of her music. When a rocky start is mentioned, Murray might have mentioned Green Day and Emma replied by yelling directly at Murray, until half a hour later to which Emma calmed down and apologized to him. Joanne, being a queen bee, to "help" remind Murray on who's in charge of the school, has him under her rope in being a supporter of hers.
Edwin - Oh heavens, he's like a cosmic punching bag. While I already put down that Mortimer despises Edwin and waiting for him to be involved with the next FTX scandal, Emma and Joanne have every right to hate him as well. Vanessa is excluded, because he pretty much that if he tries to fuck with her, he's going to be reduced to a hammered down peg. Even though Joanne does like to have some men on leashes around her fingers, she told him to "drop dead" for an actually valid reason. Joanne might have tolerated Edwin at first, until she got word of his massive ego and then she heard a certain flirty comment from Edwin to which she started treating him like a toxic waste dump. Emma actually wants to fucking KILL Edwin, since he managed to get Emma in trouble. Long story short, after Emma ended up at the police station and getting word that Edwin was the one that got her in trouble, Emma confronted Edwin alone and LAID HIM OUT. Edwin needs to avoid Emma at all costs, cuz he's a dead man walking.
Despite Jonas being a shoegaze guy, Emma lets him observe and listen to her band, seeing how he seems to be a die-hard fan to her. This can still lead to her being friends with him, since both of them are trying to break even in the music scene as young aspiring musicians.
Skyla - While I don't see a connection with her and Vanessa, Joanne will be annoyed at Skyla's presence from her role in the debate club, while Emma is willing to befriend Skyla for not trying to piss her off and sharing some bottles of alcohol.JacobAllTradez wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 10:22 pm Emma Drakenburg-West

Raymond is a part of the band! Despite mostly talking with a text-to-speech, he's mean on the drums. Ray is often the straight man of the band or at least the designated driver. They bond over a shared love of music and cool bikes.Emma Drakenberg-West

EMMA AND JOANNE!!!!
Methinks that Emma and Joanne would be very interesting characters to be the enemies of Claude. Reason being unique for the both of them.
Emma would hold a grudge/deep hatred towards the gentle giant because of a simple accident that occurred between the two in which he accidentally bumped into her and didn't apologize when she was fell over as a result. So, because of the fact she's a ticking time bomb due to her short fuss, Emma would hold the grudge which I mentioned earlier towards Claude, and she would go out of her way to make him feel and experience just how much of a bad mistake he didn't know he made.
Joanne, on the other hand, wouldn't necessarily feel the same amount or even type of hatred that Emma hold towards Claude. Instead, I see her acting extremely distrustful and loathsome towards the baseball player. As for why I say this is because of the thought that she probably wouldn't believe that someone of his social status is a genuinely nice and friendly person, and as a matter of fact, Joanne would believe that Claude is really just an asshole of a jock who simply acts nice.

Oh yes, these two ride and die together...
Raymond is also probably one of the people that Emma rarely treats with complete full respect.
After reviewing information on Claude, I do have some suggestions.Magnum 0pus wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 6:51 pm EMMA AND JOANNE!!!!

For Emma, I wouldn't consider him to be a complete enemy to her. Sure, she yelled at him for an accidental bump, but she would view more Claude of a dumb oaf, since he technically didn't mean to bumb into her on purpose.
Joanne does seem like an enemy for Claude, since she's eyeing jocks to be her cash cow and boyfriend. She does see him as just some guy who is the usual "nice guy" person, but she also considers him socially out-of-touch and too much of a pushover and distraction.

So would you believe it would be best if all three of them had a neutral relationship?
And another thing that I wanted to ask you; can Vanessa and Claude become friends? I just feel like they could be very good friends due to both being generally nice people.
