Medic's V9 Early Pregame Planning

Finally have four children. Some details aren't determined, and others are subject to change, but for starters here we go:

Finn Cooper

Hobbies: Cars and racing, exploring the city, thrills in general, all forms of punk music and rock, and cooking and baking. Plays football at school, possibly as some form of linebacker, but in reserve probably (he was better at it when he was younger, but his height didn't catch up to professional standards as he got older and Red Rock has a lot of good sporty kids).
Appearance: Red, spiky fauxhauk and enough metal in his ears to terrify an airport. Freckles, face-scruff, a bit of scarring – eyebrow scar from bashing his face into a steering wheel, and a chunk of ear missing from getting a piercing torn out - and a continuous case of resting bitchface. Tends to wear a leather jacket much of the time, but barring that will usually wear either tank tops or plaid, and he either wears boots or driving shoes. The scruff and scars make him look a little older than he is and contribute to him being able to sneak into age-restricted places easier.

Summary: Finn is as quiet as his fashion sense is loud. He prefers actions over words. He has a suppressed temper that’s usually under control, but did result in him breaking a kid’s nose in elementary school, and possibly a fight or two outside of school nowadays. Seeks new experiences and thrills, but his primary addiction in this regard is illegal racing. He saved up for a junker of a car with his part-time job, and now most of his money goes into tuning it up. His greatest ambitions right now primarily involve getting out of his home, though he's impulsive and bad at saving money so it's not going well.

Family: Lives with his grandparents in a very strict household, with a grandfather who’s a high-ranking cop. Has in recent years managed to figure out that they won’t chase him outside of the house because it’s embarrassing for the neighbours, so their grasp on him has slipped since high school started.

Place at school: Does decently in class but often falls asleep. Plays a sport, but haven’t decided which one. Despite a reputation for being shady and rough-housing (you punch a kid ONCE several years ago and it follows you), he’s usually decently well-behaved at school.
Place elsewhere: Works at a garage part-time. A fixture at the illegal racing scene. Can be found sneaking into many places that he shouldn’t, though rarely the same place more than once. But Vegas has a lot of buildings to visit. Outside of school, breaking the law comes as easily as breathing.

Friends: Likely other delinquents, since they have the most reason to hang around with him. More of a follower than a leader, too quiet to lead. Football friends. Not opposed to other friends, but since he’s quiet it’s hard to make that initial contact.
Relationships: Has a girlfriend, Marcy Valerio. Their relationship has been going about a year, and they are very much in love, but the relationship also thrives a lot on drama that probably spills onto their friend groups a lot.

Looking for:
- Fellow delinquents. If there’s anyone who’d be into the racing, that’d be especially good, but it’s not obligatory.
- I'm sure there's some potential for enemies. Somewhere.
- Football friends.
- An ex or two wouldn’t be opposed, nor anyone crushing, but anyone who dated Finn before would be getting the stink-eye from his current girl, and that goes extra for anyone visually crushing.

Current relationships:
- Marcia "Marcy" Valerio: Girlfriend.
- Beelzebub Smith: Gang leader and friend. They might have hooked up in the past, though not since Marcy.
- Niall ?????: Friend since childhood. Niall is crushing. Finn is oblivious.
- Bailey Gema: Friend.
- Emma Drakenberg-West: Work at the same garage, possibly. They like different motors.
- Mercedes “Mercy” Myers-Colman: Friendly through Marcy.
- Rowan ?????: Friendly acquaintances. Both like music.
- Skyla Monroe: Possible fellow gang member.
- Murray Miller: Fellow footballers. Just chilling.
- Kiplyn Kaplan: Friends? Enemies? Mostly they get into fist fights. You don't understand the nature of a warrior's bond.
- Ash ?????: Ash doesn't like Finn because of his often-worn leather jacket. Finn is quietly puzzled at why they keep yelling at him.
- Edwin Castellaneta: Enemies because Edwin's a punkass bitch. Finn has sometimes threatened him in a 'walking towards him with a business-like stride' sort of way.

Camilla “Candy” Carter
(Her name, barring the nickname, might change since there’s potential for family connections with her.)

Hobbies: Baseball, all forms of fashion – clothes, hair, make-up, being a social butterfly and having fun, acting and drama.
Appearance: Candy is highly appearance-focused: it’s one of her primary prides. She has chin-length black hair styled in a very fluffy bob, large eyes with amazing lashes, and enough exercise and foundation to mostly offset the weight and acne from her continuous candy-munching. She has a very 50’s aesthetic going on, with a preference for knee-length skirts that fluff out, and headbands and scarfs being a common fixture alongside red lipstick. She is very serious about how she dresses, even theming her perpetual sugary snacks in color to what she’s wearing that day. However, she also wears bike shorts and sensible footwear so she can yank the skirt off to go play baseball on a whim.

Summary: A vain, but cheerful and sociable girl who prides herself primarily on two things – her looks, and her ability to swing a bat. Getting her nickname for her constant sweet tooth, she can be great fun to hang out with and is dauntless in her confidence, but she tends to be rather verbally vicious to those who she perceives as ugly or not making an effort. However, she thinks this is just ‘motivation’ and doesn’t realise she’s a bully. She’s mostly focused on having a good time, and doesn’t have any direction for after high school because her family’s money takes off the pressure of her needing to pick anything.

Family: Wealthy and influential (probably). At the very least, includes a father who has spoiled her rotten.

Place at school: She’s lazy when it comes to schoolwork, so her grades veer in and out. But her baseball skills are high, and in that area she seeks to improve simply because she enjoys the sport. She also enjoys acting for the costumes and drama. She probably thinks she’s more popular than she is, since she doesn’t perceive her bullying as such, but her dauntless confidence, looks and tendency to be flippant about spending money do tend to draw people in.
Place elsewhere: Will find a way to get herself invited to any party. Otherwise, outside of baseball she spends most after school shopping, going to restaurants, in general having a good time.

Friends: Likely tries to gather similarly pretty girls around her, both for good times, friendship and sometimes eye candy. Probably a good amount of male friends, too, maybe those who also are big on baseball or just generally popular and fun to be around, and since her bigger flaws tend to affect other girls more, her male friendships tend to be fraught with a little less drama.
Relationships: She has had a string of ex-girlfriends, many of which are girls she gave makeovers to before attempting to flirt. She takes rejection better if it’s from a girl who’s straight – though she’s not above trying to persuade them via ‘how do you know if you don’t try it?’ But if a girl isn’t straight and rejects her (whether before or during a relationship), she tends to fly off the handle. She’s also rather callous about dumping people when she gets bored.

Looking for:
- Possibly other family, I know I’ve seen some looking for influential family members so who knows. But it’s not obligatory.
- Friends who are down with her specific level of vain cruelty but also fun times outside of that.
- Girls she’s made over in the past and tried/succeeded in romancing. Or any ex-girlfriend, really, or current girlfriend for some of v9 even. Someone she targets for this over the course of pregame could be fun.
- People who she’s targeted for rude comments and ‘motivation,’ again more likely to be girls because of the appearance-based double standard.

Current relationships:
- Hayden ?????: Cousin or sibling.
- Beelzebub Smith: Friends with benefits. Candy has a tendency to go back for the benefits after a break-up so she can bitch about whoever she just dumped.
- Ginger "Gigi" Peck: Candy's more street-smart friend, trying to keep her working better at school so it's easier to do stupid shit later.
- Maggie Wilfred: Candy is focusing on this girl as a 'project.'
- Murray Miller: Acquaintances. Allowed over for parties.
- Joanne Martinez: Friends? Or frienemies? They hang out.
- Kaiden "K.K" Karabo: Possible target for motivation. TBD.
- Heather Klein: Candy considers her a downer because oh my god, she will not shut up about the causes.
- Edwin Castellaneta: Candy finds him annoying and delights in trying to put holes in his bluster at any opportunity.

Ashley "Ash" Montoya

Hobbies: Rock climbing, hiking, general activity away from the city. Running, particularly cross country. Geology.
Appearance: Doesn’t care much for it. Small – 5’3” and skinny, though with more stamina than they look. Usually wears baggy t-shirts and shorts, and good walking shoes – the one part of their outfit they work hard at making sure fits right. Disheveled black hair that flops over their eyes a lot, though they sometimes make a token effort to tie it back. It usually doesn’t help much, and requires a lot of hairnet at work. Thick eyebrows, sleepy brown eyes. Montoya is non-binary – or more specifically, agender, sometimes phrased by them as ‘y’know, whatever.’ Though they’re not particularly stringent on what people refer to them as. Gender’s just work, that’s all. They do feel a little better if people drop the 'ley' from their first name.

Summary: Montoya cares about cool rocks, the sun, and being in more natural places. They’re not huge on city life, primarily because they don’t like noise clogging up their ears, and find the lights too bright. But they like Vegas for its proximity to some fantastic hiking. Montoya tends to just go with what’s happening. Mixed with a tendency to not do well in class and a tendency to zone out at times, sometimes it might appear that Montoya's not too bright. They're pretty friendly and intuitive when it comes to people, though, and pretty good at resolving arguments or at least simmering them down, their attempts often starting with a 'hey. Hey! Heyyyy.'

Family: Parents, two older siblings, two younger siblings. It leaves Montoya a tiny bit neglected at times, simply because their parents are juggling work and raising children, but the family’s decently close, and thankfully Montoya’s proven to be a fairly low-maintenance kid emotionally. Though schoolwork is another matter.

Place at school: Not book smart. Studies pretty hard to keep their head above water, but finds that most classwork doesn’t come naturally. Art, PE, anything that doesn’t require too much thinking is fine. Anything about geology and rocks is the exception: Montoya fucking LOVES rocks. Montoya also does track and field.
Place elsewhere: Montoya works at a food stand that primarily sells easy-to-carry tourist food. Has occasionally gotten into trouble by trying to talk up the hiking to tourists who are more into the casinos. With the Outdoor Rattlers.

Friends: Montoya is pretty relaxed and friendly, and is willing to hang out with most anyone who isn’t a jackass. Would be particularly interested in befriending anyone also willing to help out with studying, and who has the patience for Montoya’s slowness at book-learning. They’re not inclined to hang out with delinquents, finding the whole ‘getting in trouble’ thing to just be a lot to deal with, but they’re easily capable of being friendly.
The only thing that truly irritates Montoya is smoke. They don’t really drink or anything either, but smoke is something they try to avoid, and anyone bringing smoke into an area that shouldn’t have it is going to get a strongly worded, stern ‘excuse me.’
Relationships: Montoya is pansexual, as equally unconcerned with the gender of their interest as they are in their own. But they’re not particularly into pursuing it, though if a relationship turns up that’s fine.

Looking for:
- Friends, acquaintances, whatever.
- Other runners, hikers, rock climbers.
- A romantic partner of some kind is not off the table.

Current relationships:
- Murray Miller: Friend and fellow Rattler. Montoya feeds him rocks a lot.
- Maggie Wilfred: Fellow Rattler.

Zachariah "Zach" Webb
(Name subject to change, haven't really determined an ethnicity or anything.)

Hobbies: Video games with a preference for fighting games or horror games (especially co-op/multiplayer ones), pranks, special effects, horror films, tennis, being an annoyance.
Appearance: Springy, wild brown hair and big, brown eyes, and suffering from a big case of babyface. He's a sweet-looking boy until he opens his mouth. His t-shirts usually have gags or slogans on them - his preferred one is one of Jason sadly looking at a calender that says Friday 12th - and he tends to wear the same baggy jacket over it. He's usually scraped up to some degree, due to liking to climb over anything he shouldn't or stick his nose into anything he shouldn't, and wears very colourful child-branded band-aids as a result.

Summary: Zach's primary goal in life is to Be A Problem. He enjoys rubbing people a lot of people the wrong way, since he’s openly kind of a bitch, and is a bit of a compulsive liar. He’s also prone to just sitting with whoever he feels like bothering that day – often people he’s barely talked to before. He’ll often devils advocate just to annoy people, then wander off and insist that, no, he never said that, what are you talking about? He likes pranks. He likes arguing. He somehow has the energy to do this all the time. He is sometimes perceived as a bully due to it, but that said, he rarely (and generally accidentally when he does) crosses over into malicious. If he sees someone doing some bullying, often he'll intervene by annoying or insulting the bully and drawing the bully's attention away - often timed to give whoever they're targeting time to slip away.

Family: Zach will change the story up depending on the day. Often he insists he's an orphan, or in a terrible situation, or that he has twelve siblings that just don't go here. Truth be told, he's an only child with parents who are quite normal towards him, and he's pretty well-behaved at home - that's where he recharges his chaos batteries.

Place at school: Zach, despite getting a rampant amount of detention, has high grades that he rarely struggles with keeping up. He's part of the horror club, and enjoys working both on and off-stage for the theater. He plays tennis well, but feels no big passion for it.
Place elsewhere: Zach hangs out at arcades, primarily. He'll also try to sneak in anywhere he shouldn't be - but generally only until he can get in with no troubles.

Friends: Zach is easy to talk to and difficult to befriend, because of his dedication to being annoying and his difficulty with being genuine. He’ll flippantly bounce between calling someone a bitch or a bestie, whether they're a friend or enemy. That said, managing to somehow gain his friendship means he will go to bat for you and bring the full force of his pranks with it. He also dislikes bullies, but is sometimes perceived as one (and might occasionally tread into that territory if he doesn't realise he's crossed over into mean-spirited.)
Relationships: Zach is bisexual, though more male-leaning. Good luck figuring out what his tastes are.

Looking for:
- Many acquaintances, few true friends. Likely the sorts of people who can withstand him are either incredibly relaxed, or consider arguing enrichment.
- Enemies - hopefully many. He doesn't like bullies, but is also perceived often as a bully himself. He has a lot of irritating qualities.
- A relationship would be fine, but again likely argumentative. Same vibes as friendship: relaxed, or arguing-enrichment.

Current relationships:
- None yet.

Tyson might be an enemy of Finn, though this could be more one-sided on Tyson's end and he probably won't do much with this hatred anyway. Despises him for the reputation alone, not much else is needed on that front.
K.K would probably try their best not to get on his bad side out of some cautious reasoning, but also understands that Finn does seem mostly well adjusted at school so they try not to let his reputation get to them. Despite that they're probably more on neutral ground than anything.
bailey says omg, fellow delinquients, might tend to stick with Finn even if he's trying to get his act together because it's not like he needs to change who he's around or anything.

Camilla “Candy” Carter
Tyson also probably dislikes her, woo wee, that's a good amount of hate on his end. Probably looks at her and just thinks of her as a classic mean girl and refuses to explore that further.
K.K might be a target, though I'm not entirely sure about that. Depends on how the whole motivation things ends up and whether that'd be enough.
Bailey would probably be higher up if not for the fact that I wouldn't really consider him popular at all. He probably looks somewhat positively towards her, but other than that things are relatively neutral.

Finn's not much of a bully (he's friends with one, but he's more of a 'stand quietly in the background and look scary' participant), but misunderstandings (and semi-understandings) are fun.
Neutral makes sense for K.K.
I could definitely vibe Bailey as a friend, former delinquent or not. Finn kind of doesn't care enough to be too pushy (he might ask 'hey do you want to do this dangerous thing' but pressuring takes up precious shenanigans time) so he wouldn't be overtly supportive of Bailey's attempts to straighten up and fly right, but he's not gonna overtly fuck those attempts up.

Frankly, Candy is pretty close to your standard mean girl so he's not really wrong. xD
I think it would depend on her looks (it's hard to determine who she'd pick on right now since everyone's still in the vague area looks wise, and since Candy is shallow that's a big factor in whether she bullies or not.)
I could definitely see semi-friendly on that end.

Edwin I feel has gotten his ass handed to by Finn's gang at some point or another, maybe not by him specifically, but in general. Of the people involved in said gang, Edwin probably hates Finn the least, if only because he's far quieter than the others.

Skyla might be interested in the gang, if only to break away from this idea that she's a perfect person. Might be cordial towards Finn, how Finn would take to her, I'll leave that up to you.

Keiko feels like she was the victim of one of Camila's verbal tirades, something about trying to be more social. That only served to send Keiko into a crying fit and to this day, they haven't been on great terms.

Skyla feels like someone Camila tried to flirt with and was turned down due to Skyla being straight (and not wanting a relationship to begin with). Since then, I imagine they're decently friendly toward one another, mainly because in Camila's mind, they're two pretty girls. Skyla would not take to Camilla's vicious attacks all too well though, and would rein her in if she goes too far.

Hoo boy Maggie...Maggie feels like the type of person who would see Camilla and want to be like her. Maggie's possibly tried to flaunt her own looks to Camilla and either made a slight friend or it ended with Camilla being unimpressed. I'll leave that up to you.

If he’s the sort who’ll join in to a very offhand stupid suggestion, then decent chances of Finn at least occasionally bringing up fun, though he’s variant in if he’s coming up with these things or just going along with others. (Beel might be a better judge for activity)

I think Edwin’s smartmouthed and loud enough that, at the VERY LEAST, Finn has occasionally responded to Edwin’s bluster and threats by like… just getting up and moving towards him in a Business-Like ‘you got two seconds before an ass-kicking’ Fashion. (Which, if they’re outside of school, might be followed by a bop on the nose if he isn’t smart enough to beat it.)

I think Finn would be fairly neutral towards her, but similarly cordial (and certainly understands the sentiment, since strict upbringing is part of why he’s lashed out nowadays like he does).

For Candy:

Candy’s more looks than behavior focused, so if Keiko’s super quiet, Candy’s more likely to just not notice she’s there. It’s more style and looks that she’s prone to zoom in on and be like FIX IT, BITCH. (And that’s ambiguous as to how she’d respond to such with Keiko since idk if she’s got strong appearance vibes yet.)

I could see that with Skyla. Candy would be disappointed but not overly so in not being able to tap that, and friendly works fine. Though Candy’s likely to get a bit mean if Skyla tries to rein in (not AS mean, but like ‘excuse me I’m doing a public service here.’

Now, Maggie’s a fun possibility, because ‘pretty, but with some overhauling clearly necessary’ smells like a PROJECT to Candy. Candy would likely want to help her find that certain little quirk she wants, and maybe try to explain how the whole ‘not acting like a plank of wood’ thing works. And would probably give flirting a go after, IF Maggie manages to pull it off. Candy wouldn’t MIND being mimicked, but she’d also be like ‘girl no that’s MY thing, you have to find YOUR thing.’

Also you didn’t note anything regarding Edwin, but I would say that Candy would probably be open to ribbing on Edwin. Since he probably at least tries to move in similar circles, she would probably take some delight in trying to puncture a hole in him to let out all that hot air. I agree with both the Murray thing and Maggie thing. Also, Montoya would be absolutely encouraging trying the rock for the most part. Would probably start specifically finding the ones that look like good lickings. Just “hey, Murray, eat this.” “(om)”

Beez already said that Murray wouldn't get on with her given he doesn't like the bullying. I think that part can still work, but now it's more coincidental. I like the idea of Finn being a football player! Maybe he can be a wide receiver or a kicker?

That's fair with Keiko. She doesn't have much of an appearance to begin with in fairness, mainly a gray hoodie with a light blue (?) skirt.

Oh dude, if Candu tells Skyla that they're gonna get smashed, Skyla's gonna play along. Anything to shed that perfect mystique.

I love that for Maggie! She'd consider giving flirting a try, but would need some tutoring regarding it. As to whether or not she'd succeed with it, I think that's something we can workshop either in PMs here or DMs on the server.

I thought about something for Edwin, but yeah! She seems like the person who would rib on him. Edwin probably tries to make a move on her at some point.

For Montoya:

Vanessa might also be annoyed at Zach's presence at the theater club too.

Candy: I could see her calling Flick’s fashion sense cheap considering Flick shops at places like Goodwill and Ross. She may have had a crush on Taylor at one point, but Taylor didn’t like her bullying and condescending attitude. Wally is a fellow actor, but he wouldn’t care for her attitude.

Finn: Flick and Wally share his interest in cooking/baking.

Zach: Simon would definitely hang out with this guy, because they share common interests in horror media and special effects makeup. He and Taylor might have played tennis at one point. He could have also done Wally’s makeup for the theater club.

Wade would hang out with Zach by virtue of them both being in the horror club. He would probably be restraining himself from wringing his neck, though.

In Londyn’s never ending quest for internet fame, There was a period of time where they were going around “pranking” people they figured would give them a reaction. Finn and Candy seem like the type to give a reaction based on their respective reputations and appearances. I don’t imagine they like them much.
