Rundown: David is a friendly young man, if a bit reserved, that often feels a certain dread about everything surrounding him. The kind of person that enjoys small talk. Sometimes goes out to party, sometimes stays at home and reads boring books over and over. Loves his parents very, very much, which makes the thought of hating them or going away from them even more dreadful than death. Kind of a dork, isn't he?
Notes:- Has the opposite of a resting bitch face. Probably looks like he's got nothing but flower fields in his head.
- Spends a decent amount of time on the Internet, usually reading articles or looking for music and books.
- Has a habit of scratching at his hands whenever he gets ticked off or nervous, something left over from a depressing junior high.
- Comes from a somewhat affluent family; upper-middle class. Sometimes calls himself a 'yuppie'.
- Politically, follows in his parents' Democrat preferences, but is largely apolitical, something that could always change.
- Has over two bookshelves of bought books, fiction and non-fiction, in his room. Don't ask him how many he's read.
- His guilty pleasure: romance. Reads romcom manga, but would never say that out loud.
- Writes short stories, but would never ever talk about it... unless someone manages to get very close to him.
- Despite his interest in literary romance, David doesn't seem to have a single thought in his head about getting together with someone.
- If you ask him out on a date, he'll say 'yes' and think of it as just a regular day. Clueless about these things.
- Loves funk, soul, and punk rock. Cannot play an instrument to save his life.
- Often wakes up early to go for walks. You can see him with his walking sticks in the city.
- Avoids all talk about siblings.
- Generally doesn't mind associating himself with a lot of people, unless they're completely hostile to him or the people around him.
- Avoids conflict, tries his best not to make enemies. If he has to, will get into a fight.
- Tries his best to listen to what other people have to say.
- Can, on bad days, still be a bit neurotic and nervous, another remnant of his past.
- Heterosexual, but not something that he really cares about.
- Acquaintances and friends to talk to about philosophy and reading.
- People that he reached out to, hoping to make friends or help them; he got rejected most often.
- People that can really grind his gears.
- Generally anything, quite willing to listen to ideas.
- Logic, Philosophy, Ladders - David struggles to read a book.
- Delicious Birthday Cake - David struggles to eat a cake.
- Tethers - David struggles to form a cohesive sentence.
- Parikalpita - David struggles.
- Las Vegas Generic Romance - David struggles with the concept of having a girlfriend.

Close Friends
- None so far, because David is a dork.
- None so far, because David is friends with everyone! Haha, no.
- Wade Colter - David doesn't know a lot about wrestling or horror, but seeing someone passionate about such things reminds him of the fact that there is a lot more to find and discover in this world.
"I couldn't not handle that needle pit scene. At all." - Ray Janeczek - Perhaps distant, perhaps a little closed, but nonetheless interesting and skilled. And he draws, that's absolutely fantastic! Why are those men kissing?
"Oh, Ray? I love listening to him, yeah. Interesting person all around. Knows a bunch about manga, too... not that I read it." - Bambi Soledad - An avid reader, avid talker, avid person. A lot of life in her. Perhaps he, too, could have been alike. But no matter, there's still conversations to be had, walks to take.
"Bambi's lovely. Really damn smart. Never runs out of things to talk about. Gives me something to strive for, haha. Can't for the life of me win a single chess match..." - Rhys Ayari-Caillat - Cross country is not exactly like Nordic walking, but both use legs a lot! A walking comrade and a conversation partner. The routes always look more scenic when you're having a nice chat.
"Rhys? Good guy. Maybe I'll have to pick cross country up one day. If I ever do, blame it on him, will you?"
- None so far, because David has the patience of a saint... or something.
- None so far, — and hopefully never — because David loves humanity, at times.
Reserved and diplomatic youth; likes playing board games, food, music and culture. Has an innocent smile.
