hey so I'm catching up on TV3 over on the mini board and I'm still gonna do that but looking at one of the threads I got sidetracked and figured doing something like this will be fun. still gonna read TV3, but I figured since I'm probably one of the few people who regularly look at other people's signatures I may as well invite some sort of public discussion on them? idk whether that's the way to put it but the short is I have Takes on signatures and I am going to force the whole site to hear them

so, like, if you want me to talk to you about your Artistic Choices hit me up with either your main or your mini (or even your Tapatalk signature, so long as the Tapatalkening did not absolutely break it) signature and I shall give you my thoughts. they'll probably be a little blunt, but ultimately i will try to tell you something I like about your signature (and something I think could be improved upon) and I will rate it on my Signature Ranking Scale That I Haven't Actually Thought About In Depth Because I Only Thought Up The Idea Of Rating Signatures Ten Minutes Before I Started Writing This Thread.

I like the idea of putting a select quote from each thread as the thread marker in a signature. Dooooo wish the particular lines chosen stuck out a little more in terms of immediately telling me what the thread is about (like how the quote for the Jonah killthread does, for example) and (as shown with Michael's part of the signature) it starts to turn monstrous when you get a character with _a lot of threads_ but it's an interesting way of counting threads in the signature that I don't think I've seen before. Less a fan of the music links — mentioning what you think your character's theme is is Cool and Good but I prefer if I know what song I'm clicking on before I click on it. Overall a decent signature that is aesthetically pleasing — just one that could artistically be improved in a couple of areas.

(no Talking Heads though, so the actual score is 0/10)

Have to give you a shoutout right away because you're, like, one of the few people on this site who actually inserts the Fenris sprites into their signature the correct way (MS is going to be the recipient of my first diatribe tomorrow because they were the first person with a Major Signature Sin to open themselves up to critique). Can't quite talk about how well the lyrics fit Ace since I'm not caught up on him yet (and slightly wish the name of the song was mentioned before I clicked the link) but I super dig the song you linked. Wish there was maybe, like, a linebreak between the Charlie Murphy quote and the Ace sprite and the lyrics because it looks a little compressed the way it is but otherwise this signature gets a thumbs up emoji.
