Area: Upper Mountain Pass

Description: The more obviously hazardous but more jaw-dropping of the two routes across the mountain, the upper mountain pass offers some awe-inspiring views of both sides of the island but is a much tougher trek. It features a high incline, slippery snow and ice patches, as well as some potentially precipitous drops. The upper mountain pass is also home to a herd of mountain goats and is the nesting site for a few species of migratory birds.

As of Great Plan for the Transformation of Nature, a small camp has been made—and, seemingly, abandoned—somewhere in the mountains. A fallen log of a size comparable to a bench rests near the remains of a campfire. Though the fire at its center has died from a lack of tending, some ash and charcoal are present. A small stack of kindling is nearby—one could likely use them to revive the fire.
