For some context, the basic premise of this game would be that the player characters are all evil minions enslaved by working for an EBIL lich (and his beleaguered demon secretary) that wants to TAKE OVER THE WORLD, and would be handled as a free-form sandbox, with any number of players able to join and drop out of the game sessions whenever they so desire (player characters would be teleported in and out of the party by said lich). No commitment would be required at all, and the game would be able to support (almost) any number of people playing at once.
Now, this is important: That isn't to say that this game would happen anytime soon, far from it, actually. I have yet to fully prepare the tools I need to properly run it, and those would need to be developed first. However, I would like to get at least a vague idea of who exactly would be interested in playing a game like this, run by yours truly. With that in mind, I'm opening this interest check thread. If you think that you would like to play in this game, feel free to post in here expressing said interest.
However, there are a few disclaimers that I should get out of the way:
- The game would likely get very dark at points, with characters often required to perform acts of extreme cruelty (sometimes for comedy, sometimes not). If that is likely to upset you, then this game isn't for you.
- This game will likely get extremely sacrilegious towards religion in general, and especially towards all three Abrahamic faiths. If your spirituality matters deeply to you to the point where it being criticized or joked about would upset you, then this game isn't for you.
- The game will be held using Roll20 to facilitate it, if using Roll20 would be bothersome for you for whatever reason, this game isn't for you.
- The game will likely occur, on the day(s) that it is played, sometime after 3 PM EST (as that is when I wake up). If that time is infeasible for you due to time zone differences, this game isn't for you.
- Voice chat will be required for the game to properly function, as in-character dialogue and out of character observations will be handled in text and voice respectively for player characters and their respective players, if you don't want to use voice chat, then this game isn't for you.
(Also, for those concerned about my commitment levels, don't worry, I'm much more functional than I was in the past, and schedule conflicts aren't a worry with this game this time.)
