Destiny Martinez is the fourth of five grown children and only daughter in a Dominican/Cuban household. She's grown up to consider herself very much "one of the guys" and tends to look down on other girls who are too feminine. She's very mechanically inclined and owns a second-hand motorbike she bought for cheap and then borrowed/pilfered/stole stuff through her dad's mechanic business in order to fix it back up. She's not right-wing, unlike most of her family but she is very "traditional" with how she likes her guys, ie super masculine and not talking about their feelings. Destiny is not afraid to get into a fight, be it a verbal one or a physical altercation, and she's had some trouble with that over the years which she's kept under wraps. She's also the secret keeper to her younger brother - he's gay and he's terrified of anyone in the family finding out.

Gerard Cullen is a lonely middle-class child with essentially no friends to speak of. He is, however, heavily invested in art! Mostly consuming it in the form of obsessively listening to albums and watching movies and repeatedly playing video games for the purpose of rating them on sites like Letterboxd or RateYourMusic or Glitchwave, although he does like playing the guitar a bunch. He does, however, have a guilty pleasure in reality shows, which is slowly transitioning to unironic enjoyment (mainly likes The Amazing Race, also likes Project Runway even though he can't sew). Gerard also suffers from depression and anxiety and barely sees himself as worth anything, and his ability to keep this under wraps depends on the day.

Kaylee Campbell is the most annoying overprotective sister you have ever met in your life - her parents are usually extremely busy with their jobs to the point that Kaylee has had to take up most of the responsibilities around the house, but this has had the unfortuante effect of bleeding into her social life - she has friends, but anyone immediately outside of that circle finds her insufferable to the nth degree due to being not only a busybody, but condescending, accidentally rude, and someone who usually never backs down from any form of confrontation, no matter how major or minor. Despite all this, Kaylee wants to pursue her passion of becoming a model, and has a small following on TikTok which she hopes she can transfer into a career that will make bank some day, even though she has no portfolio or real experience to speak of.

Peyton Hoffman is basically Ben Shapiro without the muppet voice and if he'd been disciplined and steered in the right direction at some point in his life. Don't get him wrong, he's economically right-wing and refuses to express any opinion on his social stances, but he has a group of close friends around which curb some of his worse tendencies that would pop up were he without them. He runs a black market high school snack operation on his lonesome that specializes in interstate snacks from his parents business travels, but is generally very quick to run up tabs for people and generally is pretty patient with asking for money.

Lindsey Sewall is your average happy-go-lucky kind aspiring doctor, talented gymnast, and horror movie enthusiast. She was exposed to several shock sites as a child by asshole classmates playing a joke on her, including clips of actual death and several SOTF clips, which traumatized her at an early age, but through therapy she managed to overcome this and make the conscious decision that, although SOTF has created a lot of evil in the world, she wants to be the counter of good. She does, however, hold an appreciation of gory horror movies, due to the safe knowledge that none of it is real, and an appreciation for practical special effects. Her caring nature also has a habit of people taking advantage of her, via getting her to do things for them, or them assuming that more exists in a relationship than actually does.

Luke Travers is someone quick to remind you you're disrespecting a future army soldier. Very patriotic but very intense yet emotionally non-expressive except to select close people, Luke grew up in a fractured extended family that doesn't speak to each other very often, and as such he's been taught a lot about the world by his extremely right-wing dad. Loves guns and sports, hates weak-willed people, sees his body as a temple. Doesn't really see himself as worth a lot individually, more interested in the idea that he would help serve a greater purpose than find his own in life. Really needs someone to talk him out of that last bit for his own safety.

Luke and Corbin would likely get along well. Corbin plans to enlist in the military if he can't get to West Point, and they both are patriotic and right-wing. As well, they both enjoy sports. The two could probably get along if you feel they would.

Hello! I have ideas and they're probably easier to group by my two kids this time around, here they go;

Evie possibly has some solidarity going on with Destiny, but equally Destiny might find her a bit too girly in manner despite her androgynous appearance and boyish interests? Depending on how things shake out with Evie also being a "one of the guys" type, maybe they'll end up with connections or a group in common anyway? Who knows.
She probably doesn't have much going on with Peyton unless he has a line on hard-to-find vegan snacks? Or maybe he just thinks less of her for asking.
As for Lindsey and Aidan, probably likes but doesn't really know - and Lara and Luke, doesn't really care for but also has little connection. Not really much to go on there.

Bethany on the other hand sounds like she'd get on with Peyton and Luke like a house on fire. Finally some upstanding gentlemen that haven't fallen for the lib propaganda, and both ones she wouldn't be embarassed to show to her parents some day? Maybe.

I've also updated two of the kids to concepts I'm more passionate about - Aidan is now Gerard Cullen (same except white, plays guitar instead of paints, and heavily depressed), and Lara is now Kaylee Campbell (same except wants to be a model instead of a makeup youtuber)

Peyton mostly gets stuff that his dad grabs when he travels out of state so specific snacks might be hard to find, but if Evie is willing to pay extra for research and marketing and shipping and emotional distress then Peyton could have it in stock - he's also pretty lenient with tabs and stuff so if she doesn't have money that's fine she can pay him later

Peyton isn't /quite/ as hardline right-wing as one would believe - he's more someone who considers himself a Logical Centrist, and a lot of his worser tendencies tend to be held back by his friend group who steer him back to the 'correct' path, and whenever someone tries to push him further right he tends to freak out about it because woah this isn't what I signed up for I'm having a crisis of faith now what's going on! Don't get him wrong, he'll still make fun of le triggered libs and such but anything that's more the blatantly right-wing than that and he tends to get scared off.

That said, Luke is probably the opposite! He /does/ consider himself an upstanding gentleman who hasn't fallen for the hardcore left-wing propaganda the democrats keep spewing and would love nothing more than to get the approval of a girlfriend's father because it would mean so, so much to him secretly (also he's not telling you that, ever).

- Destiny could be allured in by Bethany's "democrats are destroying masculinity and the American way of life" stance as long as she doesn't get homophobic or racist, in which case she would very quickly throw hands.
- Kaylee tends to very quickly and loudly make her opinions known on anything within earshot so that could be interesting~
- If Bethany is nice to Lindsey for an extended period then she's ripe for the taking-advantage-of, as long as she's not being used for bank heists or smuggling drugs.

- Destiny prolly wouldn’t like Molly, who is very much Big Feminine and unabashed about it, but if it was likely to turn into conflict then Molly would just kind of veer away.
- Roberta has some similar ground, as she’s much less feminine and has some more ‘masculine’ hobbies (woodworking, primarily) which are kinda adjacent to mechanics in that they both take place in a shed. They’re also both partially Dominican if that affects anything.
- Marshall is prone to verbal arguments (tho not physical ones) and is also very open about his feelings, which will usually be announced to the entire room if they come up.

Kaylee:

- Marshall suffers from the same quality of being a busybody who will get into your business and won’t back down no matter how minor. If these two come into conflict, the argument may physically destroy a building through just volume alone. (And on the flipside, if they ever agree on something lord help anyone nearby who doesn’t.) They do also have that similar quality of being heavily responsible partially due to a home life. Hard to say if they’d be friends or bitter rivals, it would very much depend on the subject at hand. XD
- Molly shares similar possible ambitions of being a model, though Molly’s TikTok is currently mostly cosplay, and her ambitions waver between modelling and fashion designing without a particular focus on getting either of them done. So common ground. But I think Molly would brush off or try to avoid any lecturing. Maybe easily agreeing with Kaylee just to get her to stop confronting, even when she doesn’t actually agree.

Peyton:

- Fitz and Molly would probably both be down to buy snacks.

Lindsey Sewall

- Prolly decent grounds to get along with any of the kids, really.

- Marshall would probably respect the attempts at strength and stuff, but might go in on trying to yell him out of that last part.
