Area: Mineral Processing

Description: Following the official closure of the mine, the biggest building in the area was left to rust. The interior, once a hub of activity, now sits as a maze of conveyor belts, pipes, stairs, and walkways that allowed people to traverse the building. There is a main gangway that stretches from one end of the building to the other and many other paths that branch off of it, typically taking one up or down a set of stairs and onto another walkway. A few of the windows within this building have also cracked and broken as a result of the building starting to fall in on itself, leading to snow being visible on some of the pathways, making fast movement a potentially hazardous affair.

As of Tranquility, bottles of Lexapro has been left on the side of one of the walkways.

As of Wendy House, the following have happened in a small office room with "KONTOR" on the door:

Several desks have been displaced, one in particular is close to the door where it was blocking entry
One a wall opposite the windows, the word BETH has been carved using a pickaxe - about as small as is possible with the tool but still quite large and obvious
On a wall to the left as one faces the above, a large cross has been carved in the same fashion

Bethany's ski poles and skis have also been abandoned here.

As of Spiralling Into Oblivion, the body of Henry David Dearborn is lying with his head propped up on a pipe in a path between two pieces of machinery somewhere on the ground floor of the building. He has been stabbed in the upper back and his weapon has been taken, but apart from that he is unlooted.

As of Run to the Hills, in the KONTOR office:
The name ANDREW has been carved into the wall underneath Beth’s. One of the windows has been smashed, with a chair discarded to the side of it, and another chair has been wedged under the handle of the door in a makeshift barricade.
