Hello,

I would appreciate a Hero Card greatly. Claire Haig is a character that I still have lots I want to do with and I think her story ending now would be an unfortunate way for it to go, considering I still have plans I want to do. I understand that cards are a limited commodity, but I would be beyond honored if one of the few remaining went to her.

For the record.

Posting here to acknowledge that Richard was rolled and because I knew early and was currently already in a scene that felt like a good ending--I went ahead and ended him before rolls got posted. I have no hero to use myself, no character to swap Richard with and I am not asking for heroes or cards of my own (obviously). There is no game advantage or thing to be gained for me by this action. Still, in my heart and in my mind, I know the ability to kill Richard off at that stage and in that scene was a privileged position due to my knowledge of the rolls. If I still had another character or a hero to use, I likely would've waited. Since the end result was me exiting the version anyway, I didn't feel like the few days of lying by omission would hurt. It was a selfishness, but a selfishness that I don't think really harms anybody else and was done with the genuine goal of ending my character's story the best way that I could.

This post is being made for history and transparency, Big Dick Buster was hit in these rolls and I offed him because he was rolled and the scene he was in felt like the best place for him to go. Thank you very much and I hope you've enjoyed reading my V8 journey as much as I've enjoyed sharing it with you.

I am currently moving/emigrating and while I was under the impression I would get internet pretty immediately at my new place, it actually took a few days. I've not been able to get properly online until today since last Friday, and I've had a number of things to take care of vis a vis setting up my new abode/country of residence.

I've not been able to get properly online until today since last Friday, and I've had a number of things to take care of vis a vis setting up my new abode/country of residence.

Just a little reminder and clarification that has been mentioned in past announcements but: requests for additional extensions will NOT be granted. If you have any additional questions about the deadline system, please ask the staff. It'd be our pleasure to explain the reasoning behind this policy. Keep in mind that as long as the death gets in before the NEXT rolls deadline the only consequence is being ineligible for BKA/BDA, staff will not take the character to finish ourselves unless that threshold was met.

So, no need to worry, you actually have more than a few days before staff has to get involved with the death!

Also that is time on BKA/BDA eligibility!
