Area: The Campground

Description: Located on the shore of the frozen lake between the forest itself, the campground was a popular summer getaway spot for residents of the town, frequently featuring BBQs and games of softball among other activities. The campground now is home to a few abandoned tents, an outhouse, and a single lonely log cabin with a small jetty. The time left abandoned has seen the log cabin, outhouse and jetty become covered in moss.

As of How Did I Get Here, two bags lay in the snow, discarded. The first is a tan duffle bag labeled "S007"—the designation of Derek Caldwell—and contains some scattered items: a map, a compass, a flashlight (with the battery compartment opened and emptied), an extra duffle bag, and a windbreaker. The other bag is a black backpack with a skull-and-bones motif. It is empty.

As of Welcome to Camp Nightmare the bags from the above post have been removed.

As of Welcome to Camp Nightmare, parts of one of the outside tents have been left inside the cabin by the table, with numerous strips cut out of them. A list of the dead listed in the Day 1 announcements (but not the killers) was scrawled on the table in charcoal. A tin of slightly spilled, half-dry teal paint was also left within the cabin.

As of Morning Pyre, the list of those who died in the first announcement, written in charcoal, has been smeared. Some names are still visible—most are smudged or erased. It would take a perceptive eye to discern the original meaning.

Per Venom, one of the abandoned tents has collapsed under the weight of a person falling on it. The tarpaulin has a roughly fist-sized puncture in it where something pierced it and continued to make a hole in the earth underneath, and is also stained with blood.

As of Mutilated Lips, the interior of the cabin is in disarray. A large amount of the remaining furniture has been overturned, and various objects have been removed from shelves and strewn across the ground. The can of teal paint has been tipped over onto its side and has spilled its contents in a large puddle on the floor. The couch is in particularly bad shape, with deep gouges made into its cushions by what appears to have been some sort of bladed object.
