Area: Tundra Forest

Description: Thick with trees and snow, the tundra forest is relatively unspoiled, and some of the deeper areas have been completely untouched by man. The forest itself is made up of western red cedar, sitka spruce, and western hemlock, which have all been able to grow to large heights thanks to a lack of logging, providing areas of shelter. Some animals can also be found roaming the forest such as mountain goats, sitka black-tailed deer, and bald eagles. A dried-up riverbed can also be seen within the forest which, if followed, leads to the lower mountain path one way and the frozen lake the other way.

Day 1: There is a trail of four snowmen somewhere in the tundra forest. The fourth one is incomplete, with just two snowballs stacked for a body, with the upper snowball having circles drawn on it akin to a target.

As of UWU with the best of 'em, signs of a violent altercation can be seen in one of the forest's clearings. Footsteps dot the area, converging in the center and then dispersing in different directions. Blood stains the white snow a deep crimson red. Lastly—and perhaps, mostly distressingly—if one inspects the scene closely, they will find two severed fingers on the ground: one is an index finger, the other a middle finger.

As of You Missed My Heart, a trail of blood and two sets of footsteps run into the forest. If someone were to trace its origin point, they would arrive at the Listening Station. In a particular clearing, one will find a concentration of bloodstains around a tree. No blood seems to trail away from this area, and no obvious source is visible.

As of morning day 2, a bloody pile of snow can be found deep in the forest, off the beaten path. The snow surrounding the pile is uneven and freshly dug, and coated with numerous sprays and spatters of blood. Next to the pile is a bag marked "S065", which has been picked clean of useful supplies. Uncovering the snow pile will reveal the disemboweled and mutilated corpse of Mitch McDuffy, but why would you do that? You'd just be asking for trouble. :3

The body of Mildred Platt can be found in the forest, not too far from the snowmen mentioned above. She has been shot in the chest with a sniper rifle from close range. The body is lying on its back. The way the snow's been flattened, and the specific patterns of the blood puddle near that side of Mildred, suggest that someone was at least briefly lying beside her. Her supplies are gone.

The security camera above her body, tucked in the trees, has a crack on the lens.

As of White Rabbit, there are dozens of small punji-style pit traps scattered throughout the woods, each roughly the same volume of a shoebox and covered in a layer of snow and leaves in a way that blends them into their surroundings.

As of White Light, one of the punji traps has been activated, but there are no signs of blood.

As of Long Live The Void, someone decorated a trio of trees with various objects scavenged from all over the island. The objects include christmas deco, bedsheets, items of clothing, contents of a first aid kit, a scarf and two empty backpacks.

The bizarre structure goes up to three meters high, implying that someone spend a lot of time and effort into creating it.

At the feet of the trees lies an aztec death whistle.

The trees are in rhe middle of a small clearing, very close to the dried-up riverbed.
